First went to pay for round with 4 others in my group and the guy checking us out said he is playing behind our group and that we needed to keep up with the twosome in front of us or he was gonna ask us to skip a hole. After playing the first nine holes, and by the way the course is pretty much a goat ranch, we decided to play the back nine. The gentleman behind us which was working the course that day taking our money says we held him up and needed to speed up. We were just out to have fun and play a round of amateur golf and we have to deal with being rushed through our holes. Pace of play was absolutely unacceptable, with no one out there to get the pace moving. 5+ hours for a round of golf is unacceptable. Sad that we did not get to play 18 because we had to leave to go to the airport after being on the course for 5:15 minutes through 17 holes.
