It has been a struggle to find a good primary physician in the area that can take the lead with my…read moreteam of doctors, until a friend referred me to Dr. Rosen. I'm so glad that I decided to go to Dr Rosen's office the first time that I did. She is excellent at her job and has definitely exceeded my expectations as a primary care physician. Dr Rosen is also organized and professional. Her staff is friendly and efficient. And the space is clean, comfortable and convenient. I can't imagine anyone having negative experience.

Very disappointed with the customer service at Elkins Park Family Medicine. I called to schedule an…read moreappointment and was met with significant disrespect and a lack of professionalism. I've been experiencing increased symptoms associated with diabetes (to which I have both a maternal and paternal history of this diagnosis). I called to request bloodwork to rule out the condition. I spoke with two individuals--I was told they couldn't see me for 1-2 months, because time has to be open for "sick" patients. I wouldn't be requesting the appointment if I wasn't feeling sick. The woman then went on to say that I've only been there four times since 2018 (I'm not sure how that's relevant?). The reason, of course, is due to how difficult it is to get an appointment. As a result, I've generally gone to urgent care when I have a cold, etc., as I know I'll be seen in a reasonable amount of time. My PCP is Dr. Rosen, who I've only seen once (my first visit), every other time I've been with Dr. O'Brien. Both doctors are very kind. I am a Psychologist; regardless of how good I am, clients must be met with respect by the staff that is the first point of contact. They are a representation of your practice. I will now be changing my primary care physician. Highly recommend that office staff receive professional development in effective, compassionate communication.

For over four years I have received excellent care for leukemia at FCCC but have encountered…read moreunprofessionalism when trying to navigate to other departments. On a recent first visit to the Gastroenterology Dept, I parked in the East Lot for the first time and walked up the ramp to the main building only to find two elderly men sitting behind the desk in grey uniforms that appeared to identify them as part of the Maintenance Dept. When I asked for directions to the Gastro Dept - they had NO IDEA! Next, I approached a staff member at a desk outside the entrance for Breast Cancer patients. She pointed me in the direction of the Young Pavilion. After a VERY LONG walk that took me in almost a full circle, I finally found the Gastro Dept - only to be greeted by a receptionist on the phone who refused to make eye contact of acknowledge my presence in any way. I would've be happy for just a smile - but NOTHING. After sitting for a while, I went to the rude receptionist who was still on a call that was - apparently - more important than greeting patients. I stood over her until her finally made eye contact but not with a smile. Instead, she snarled, "I'm on a call! This lack of staff training is inexcusable at a nationally recognized cancer hospital!

The new Temple staff especially reception is loud, rude, and totally unprofessional. The wait time is also long. You take the time to arrive on time, but then wait over a hour to see your doctor!
