I do not buy meat from any of their locations as it smells funny and doesn't all look the best. *Also, check the price of every item as they ring it up because they do not change most things to their sale price. Almost all the beer can be warm or cold, depends on what you need. They want you to do everything. But when someone doesn't do their job, they expect their best Worker to clean up the slack and do everything for them. They don't give a crap about their customers and they sure as heck don't give a crap about their employees. The upper management in Dollar General is a freaking joke. They hide behind phones talking crap about the employees. They won't come in and address the employees face-to-face about what they want them to do or what they did wrong. They let that be done by the store manager, which most of the time he doesn't even agree with what they're saying. They want the store manager to work 70 hours a week and only get paid for 40. They constantly put down all the workers and say that no one does their job. So they cut hours when they expect people to be able to make the stores spick and span with no hours. you can't even sit down at night when you're on the clock, but you're sick and you came to work anyway. They expect you to have a doctors note for everything and even if you have a mental health problem, they don't care.
