Then we met Nicole, the nicest, most caring and helpful hospice nurse I've ever known. No request has been too large or small. We met Angela next, and her help in getting my spouse into our home was invaluable! We couldn't have done it without her. During her final hours, Tara from Abode came to our home in the middle of the night, in the rain, and was here with me when my spouse breathed her last breath. She made herself available to me any day, any time. As a group, the caring and kind team at Abode continue to make me feel like I'm part of their family and they have stressed that I can call them any time if I have questions or problems. It's comforting to see how patient and respectful they are with him, and how much effort they put into making sure he's comfortable and safe. What I really appreciate is how easy they are to work with as a family. If we ever had questions or needed to make a change, the office staff was quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Having their support has taken a lot of stress off our shoulders during a difficult time, and I'm thankful we chose FirstLight Home Care for my dad's care.

Let me be clear that I have a medical license to get medicinal edibles for pain, weight gain, and sleep because every prescribed medication either gives me headaches when it's suppose to help my stomach and severe stomach issues when suppose to help my head. Also I lost weight over 6 months because I was called and told that I was pre-diabetic. So I cut out all carbs and sugar and was waiting for 90 day check up to see if I was type w diabetic. I wasnt seen for 6 months and it was at my request to check my blood sugar because I was losing so much weight and never got a call to recheck it. In fact, the podiatrist I saw before seeing him told me it would be a way worse surgery than Dr. Goforth suggested it would be. As soon as Dr. Goforth saw me, he told me exactly what he could do, how he would fix it, and how often he did the procedure I would need. He was super patient with me when I was unsure of scheduling and understanding that I had to bring my toddler into my consult. As long as I live in the Grand Valley, this will be the person I go to, to solve my foot and ankle problems. The receptionist is a total sweetheart and was patient with my toddler, despite her not being on her best behavior due to her being, well, a toddler. She is super prompt returning phone calls and goes the extra mile to make you feel listened to and cared for.
