This was before she opened La Ti Da and just ran her photography business out of her home. She met us for the first time at a park, and I must admit I was a little nervous for our first time family pictures! I was put at ease the second I met her. Kim has such a beautiful personality, and really brings out the best in everyone on and off camera. She spent more than the allotted time with us, and even went off and took one on one pictures with my (then 3 year old) daughter. She made the best impression on us and the pictures turned out absolutely amazing. I have used her for family pics, and individual "yearly" pics of my daughter ever since. These pictures decorate my house, and I get compliments on them all the time. I have never been disappointed with ANY picture or session she has sold me. I have recommended many people to her and they all use her religiously for their pictures. Yelp is definitely the place where you can post your good and bad opinions of places, but I'm positive that the bad review posted here will be the ONLY one you'll find for La Ti Da. Please remember that it's a one woman show, and she really takes time on each of her clients pictures. You're not getting some cheap unedited sears portrait done where they snap it and print it the same day. She takes time to carefully select the BEST pictures out of the hundreds she takes, and edit out imperfections! It is not a quick process to make the picture look better than you thought it possibly could. If you need pics next day, DONT CALL HER. Plan ahead and capture your beautiful memories the way they should be! Go with La Ti Da, and you wont be disappointed. =)

I found her through a SoCal Wedding group on FB after I went through 40-50+ photogs and picked my top 3. She has been more than accommodating with our schedule and style and provides tips along the way. Her booking folder comes with a nice timeline and engagement photo tips. And she sent me a photo questionnaire to make sure we get all the shots on our must list! She explained that her videographer was unwell, but reassured me that she could do both jobs. However, she arrived an hour late and promised to deliver the pictures within 7-8 days. It has been over a month and a half, and I have not received any updates yet. After reading other reviews, I am even more worried. I might have to take legal action to retrieve my payment, but I remain hopeful that I will eventually receive my pictures and video. I am starting to question if this business is legitimate. I will be forever grateful that Melanie at Siren Boudoir came into my life…read more While searching for a Boudoir Photographer as a gift to my now husband on our Wedding Day, I reached out to over a dozen photographers and no one shared my vision nor matched my needs more than Melanie. She was impressively responsive, extremely personable, and exquisitely professional. I had so many qualms and anxieties headed into the shoot that quickly dispersed once I met her in person and we got started. Melanie opened up her beautiful home to me and made me feel at ease. She gave me plenty of direction while still allowing me to share my creative suggestions. She kept to her word on when the initial proofs were to be delivered and I was blown away by what I saw. (My husband was too!) Melanie has a genuine knack for capturing the most beautiful aspects of any woman and putting them on film. I cannot wait to return again to do another photo shoot in a few years (or maybe even for maternity photos when that time comes). Her prices were so extremely competitive (even though she wasn't the cheapest) but the value I received from the quality of work surpasses what I paid. She was definitely not even the closest (as I drove over 1 1/2 hours from Upland to Beaumont) but she was worth the traffic. Thank you, Melanie! You now feel like a longtime friend to me.

I was so upset because I spent so much money getting myself ready for the shoot (hair, tan, eyelashes, nails). Luckily, I was referred to Melanie with Siren Boudoir and she was able to take me that same day and I'm soooo happy she did! My pictures came out so much nicer, more polished, and definitely more professional looking than the pictures I saw on the other photographer's website. When I gave my pictures to my boyfriend for Christmas, he was literally speechless! I was so impressed that I recommended her to a friend. My friend went ahead and booked a session and loved it too! Melanie definitely makes you feel very comfortable (which can be difficult if you plan on being a half naked sexy seductress LOL). I love that I look like me in my pictures with the advantage and the best lighting and poses. LOL You will definitely be pleased with Melanie's work. She's not cheap, but you definitely get more for your buck with her. Besides, when you're getting boudoir shots captured, you don't want an amateur.
