Neil himself is very short when you have to call him and gets an attitude when asked questions. His assistant is also bad at communication and unhelpful. When I call Neil he tells me to email him, and when I email it takes a while for response and the response never fully addresses the question or concern. Not to mention he was late to my hearing to the point that the trustee even laughed and told me to request partial refund. At that point Neil decided to grace us with his presence. It had been past my 100 days and I still haven't received my discharge paperwork and he refused to help with re establishing with my lender for my house. Do not go here it has only made a stressful situation so much more stressful I don't know how he is still in practice at this point. read more

Extremely unprofessional, I opened a case with them a year ago they never want to communicate other than over text. When u do ask Niel questions he doesn't even answer your question he almost has no idea what you're even talking about. They're super rude on the phone. Won't even return calls. When u do call they'll text and just say "just text me" suppodely my stuff got discharged but I got a notice from a bank saying my loan was never discharged so what did I pay for? Mr. Hedke does not know how to communicate on the phone. He missed quoted me on a major issue of my potential case saying something that I never said literally putting words in my mouth. Furthermore, I sent one of the most important documents of my bankruptcy case. He told me he never received it, but I uploaded it to his email address two times he clearly got it, but he didn't take the time to look at the details. This man is not a detail oriented attorney and all attorney should be just like a person investigates crime or an accident. Next he advised me to be a landlord and rent one of my rooms in my homes to double my income . He refused to listen that I only had 10 days of my deadline with my mortgage company and he fantasized about doubling my income within 10 days, which is impossible for anybody furthermore there's no way I can rent a room for $1000 or more in my particular specific neighborhood The man is clueless and he charges $700 more than another bankruptcy attorney that I talk to that was more oriented to details. This man is incompetent especially when he's on the phone. He's very difficult to communicate with. He needs to be educated in communication skills and doing the jobs of looking at details that are sent to him right to his inbox. He ignored my situation. Spoke to a very rude person on the phone who said they don't provide any real estate services and chose to hung up on me instead of answering my question about why do they advertise it on their website then. "We are experienced in residential and commercial real estate purchases, sales, exchanges, and leasing for clients seeking representation in such specific transactions, whether or not they are part of their overall estate plans." ...I wouldn't trust a lawyer with false statements on their website. read more

I recommend not using this attorney. They're completely rude self absorbed in not having anything to do with their clients after they messed up your BK7 return. Hedtke stated they'll give you a discount if you file jointly then when you go to the hearing and your NOT legally married someone's name has to be removed but on your credit report you still get stuck with a BK7 that says DISMISSED but they wont so much as left a finger to clean up their mess. then tell not to call them again. If I could give him a zero I would. My husband and I started a divorce with him a few months ago. My husband was supposed to get a free lawyer thru work and when we got there he advised only 10 hours so we had to pay a retainer. After completing some paperwork and talking in their office they said they would file the paperwork which they did. During this time we reconsiled and asked him to stop the filed divorce after two months of trying to get the paperwork complete they faxed it to the court. After checking online I saw it was rejected and incomplete and they were notified of this but never did anything to correct the error. I called the court clerk myself to find out what the error was and I refaxed the paperwork to get the dismissal filed. Then he has the nerve to not refund any of the retainer. Most of the damn retainer went to trying to get him to return freaking phone calls. This law group is worthless. Don't waste your time or money. You will regret it. read more

I should of trusted my first gut instinct when I saw this sloppy looking man , he is nothing more than a cheap used snake. He showed up to court looking like a mess, and didn't have my paperwork .
