The first time I heard about this store, almost two years ago, I thought to myself: "what a strange…read morename for an electronics shop...". Even today I still find it funny, but it a great name.
When my father visited me, here in Munich, he wanted to buy a new digital camera, but he did not know exactly which one to buy. The salesclerk asked us a lot of questions and helped us narrow down which cameras would suit better my father's needs. Hence, my dad was able to make a great choice and is now super satisfied with his new camera.
There I have bought from DVDs and games, till a TV and a washing machine. The washing machine I really needed help to buy and once again they offered excellent advice.
Whenever I was not satisfied with some purchases and needed to exchange something, or ask for my money back, this was never a big issue with them. And everything was always promptly resolved.
For sure one can find cheaper places in town, or on the internet. But sometimes it is really necessary to see and touch, so that the most appropriate choice is made, then quality of the products can be evaluated on site. Moreover, you can always count with a friendly salesperson to help you.
Do your research! Sometimes the prices, for the same items, vary depending on the location of the Saturn store. For instance, when I bought my TV there was a 100 Euro difference from the Stachus store to the one in PEP mall.
Even when I am not looking for anything special, I find it fun to look at the new products they have.
