I truly cannot say enough good things about Jason and his team. Getting a VA One -Time Close…read moreconstruction loan is not a simple process, and from the very beginning Jason made us feel like we had someone in our corner. We spoke with other lenders before choosing him, and no one took the time to explain the process as clearly or thoroughly as Jason did. He was incredibly attentive, honest, and responsive through every step. I don't think I ever even had to leave the guy a voicemail--if I called and he couldn't answer, he was calling me back shortly after. Every question was answered, every concern was addressed, and we always knew what was happening with our loan and what came next. The biggest testament to his dedication was when our initial appraisal came back lower than expected and put our entire project in jeopardy. Jason didn't just shrug his shoulders and tell us there was nothing he could do. He helped us fight the ROV, guided us through what was needed, and ultimately helped get the value reconsidered so we could move forward with building our home. There are so many moving pieces in a construction loan, especially a VA One-Time Close, and having someone who genuinely knows the process and is willing to advocate for you makes all the difference. We closed on our land and construction loan this past week, and I genuinely don't know that we would have gotten here without Jason and his team. If you're considering a VA construction loan, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you guys for answering what felt like a million questions, fighting for us when we needed it, and helping us get to the point where we can finally start building our forever home. We are incredibly grateful!
