I read the boilers owner manual and found stop leak will void warranty and when I told Kevin this he said he would be back to fix it. After 5 weeks we paid another Heating and Cooling company to fix it. Wise Heating and Cooling came the next day and fixed it. I no longer have a need for a so called Heating and Cooling company that can't do the job and would say to everyone stay away from J and J Heating and Cooling from grayling

The owner, Don, got to me in a couple days due to backlog of service calls (typical for holidays when everyone is up north) and is completely understandable based on limited number of plumbers in the area. Everyone else was a week or longer before they could respond. Once Don got on property he diagnosed the issue almost immediately (bad pressure switch on the pressure tank). Repair was fairly quick (about 40 minutes) where total cost came to $110 (parts and labor) which I though was very reasonable, especially in comparison to metro Detroit prices. Throughout the repair Don was very friendly and professional and did not mind my questions or my desire too be educated on my system (curse of being an engineer). I was thoroughly impressed by him and his friendly demeanor and he definately will be my go to plumbing guy in the Oscoda area for any future repairs. Highly recommend!

Ron was hired to fix by lake pump system that feeds my sprinklers. He said it was a check valve…read more Charged me $400 to change it out. The pump system stopped working right after he left. I called him and he said it will need a new pump. He quoted $1,000 for a $700 pump and $300 for labor. Meanwhile my grass is dying and turning brown. He couldn't find the Goulds pump but said he would find a different pump that would work just fine and charge me the same amount. I asked him to send me what pump it would be. He sent me a picture of a $600 well pump. I question how this would work and mentioned that flotec's sprinkler pump is only $250 at home depot and $350 at Ace. He then said sorry I sent you the wrong picture and would only charge $800. Now he's getting $650 for labor which doesn't add up but i said fine because my lawn was dying. He said he would be over in the morning and never showed up. After not responding to text and calls he finally text me at 5pm saying he is unable to do the job. He tried to scam me and then litterally left me high and dry. I would not trust this guy.

He worked 5 1/2 hours on the hottest day of the year to repair the bricks on my front porch. He took the caps off 2 of the columns and took the old mortar off the old bricks and put new mortar in the joints. It looks fantastic. Then he went around the whole porch and chiseled out any old loose mortar and redid all the joints to make it look new again. Al worked hard in the blazing sun. On top of that he cleaned up any messes that he had made. For all the work he did he was very professional and didn't complain about my shoddy work to try and repair it myself. The icing on the cake was that he was reasonably priced. Thanks so much Al for a job well done.
