We wanted to be close to Mount Robson so we stayed at a log cabin here with a view at Mount…read moreRobson......from our bedrooms and dining/living room. We were received in the office by 2 very helpful and polite staff members. Our Cabin was clean, cozy and very welcoming, be aware to entertain your self when the weather is bad because there is no phone reception, tv or wifi here. The kitchen had a stove top, fridge and all the necessary cooking equipment. Our unit had a balcony where you could sit and just stare at Mount Robson. The walk from our cabin to the Fraser River only took a few minutes where you can enjoy just the quiet surroundings and the sound of the water of the river finding it's way to the Pacific a long way from here. Be aware that if you don't bring food, the only place where there are restaurants with warm meals for dining are in Valemount ( about 20/25 min away ) or in McBride (45 min drive). There is a restaurant at Mount Robson but they are more a snack place with sandwiches or pizza etc., so not if you want a steak dinner or anything like that. The restaurant at Mount Robson is good for a healthy snack or a cup of coffee etc. while hanging around the visitor area. When staying here at the Mount Robson Lodge and planning to go for a hike/walk to Kinney Lake etc., go early and I mean be at the parking for the hike at 9 or so because it can become a zoo and a long walk from parking your car to the start of the hike itself. I noticed this time too they park touring buses there and hordes of these tourist are on the hiking trail and dressed as if they are going to climb Mount Robson itself! ( probably just for the selfie to send back home or so ). We stayed at a log cabin with a letter, they are A-I, however a bit east of the office are more cabins 1-9, we went there to check these cabins out too for future stay, I don't think anybody was staying at these at the moment but for some reason we were not able to stay around there to have a look ( although the place and surroundings are fantastic and the views ), the reason we could hang around there was a lot of small flies all over the place so the ladies retreated very fast to the safety of the car. The flies were especially noticeable from cabin 4 towards 5 and 6. Did not notice them hardly at 1,2 and 3. The only down note for our cabin was the blower in the bathroom. The blower is coupled to the power when you turn the light on in the bathroom which is no problem during the day, however if anybody, but anybody is going to the bathroom at night, say 1 am the other guest that were dreaming in their beds will be rudely awakened thinking they were at a runway and at jumbo jet was taking off. Now there was a nightlight that you could turn on and so not use the switch for the light/turbo blower, but....nightlight did not work. I asked for another one when they came to see if they could pick up the garbage or if we needed anything, well I needed another nightlight which worked fine first.....but not later on when I tried it. I wonder if the plug in was defect or something else was going on. I'm also amazed now that I write this report that we did not hear anything from the heavy traffic on the highway that was not so far. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anybody anytime, except I suppose in -40c and 4ft ( 1m ) of snow, otherwise go and enjoy this place.

The room was large and we were upgraded to a lakefront suite that was absolutely adorable and Instagram worthy AF. Slept sooo good! The property is huge, but you don't feel the congestion as you do at the Lake Louise and Banff properties. The restaurants on property were delicious and service was what you would expect at a Fairmont property. Unpretentious five star luxury on every level. We stayed at two Fairmont's during our trip to Banff and Jasper national Park in October 2025 and this was definitely the best of the two!

The room was very nice and we really enjoyed the experience. As long as their is a nice comfortable bed, a nice size clean bathroom and enough room to sit, I am happy. This place fit the bill. We were here as part of out Rocky Mountaineer trip and they had a staffer with a separate check in for us. You leave the train, they take you over by coach and the baggage is already in the room. The staff was fabulous and everyone was very attentive to any of our needs and always very accommodating. I had only one issue here... lots of people and not a lot of places to eat. A bar and restaurant. My wife and I are used to multiple choices and the ability to walk downtown if we want. Here that was really not an option. We came back late from a tour and it was difficult to be seated. The VERY NICE host took our name and really watched the flow of people and managed to get us in a bit earlier than the reservation we made. Food and atmosphere is good and our server did a wonderful job. (some food pictures attached as well as a separate review.) If I was ever back in the area I would certainly come back but... be better prepared. KUDOs to the team at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
