There is a large shop at Garden Wise which sells everything from conserves to CD's to ornaments! I think this is great because it is a lovely place to wander round even when the weather is not great. They have a good selection of food to take home including a large frozen section of homemade items like pasties, fruit mixes and baked items. They also have lots of nice jars and bottled goods which are perfect hamper items. Garden wise also has a lovely cafe which is always really busy. I have never tried the food there but the conservatory is a great place to meet for a coffee. I can't say that the plants section is anything spectacular but they have the usual items and also sell a few different types of fish plus some garden furniture. However, I still think it is worth a visit as there is so much variety in their items and you can get a coffee.

Theres a smashing coffee shop and on a sunday its chocca with the blue rinse brigade, I cant blame them, the foods great. I wouldn't recommend this business at all…read more Basically, you arrange for them to come to your house with samples and discuss what you want - all seems very convenient and straightforward. The boss, Stephen, does this. The fitters are excellent but Stephen is a really unpleasant and dishonest person. He didn't turn up for the first two appointments, was rude to us, lied about his prices, mocked us, and then made us wait a week for the carpet we'd chosen. When it arrived to be fitted, it was a completely different carpet, wrong colour, cheaper, and a remnant he'd had (I quote) 'lying around'. We refused it and the same day went to the Carpet Centre in town and got a better quality carpet, cheaper, and fitted that week with no hassle at all. Stephen also spent most of the first appointment with us telling us how great a businessman he is and how he ensures his fitters can't leave to start their own businesses by threatening to withdraw his business from the suppliers if they supply his fitters directly. Nice man, really. Shame, as his fitters actually do a great job. Steer well clear of Mobile Carpets. Much better to go straight to the Carpet Centre.
