Can't say enough about how wonderful Heather and her team are! My husband and I had a couple's session and we enjoyed it so much that we're already talking about when we're going to do it again. Her makeup person is AMAZING! I don't usually wear makeup so I had no idea what I wanted. She made me look beautiful and flawless, but not overdone. I was SO impressed! Heather could not have been kinder or funnier or more pleasurable to work with. She is the sweetest person and puts you at ease the minute you step through the door. She knows how to make you look amazing and the end result is absolutely FIRE! She wasn't very accommodating for normal photoshoot requests. I've done many photo shoots in my day and never had any issues. Based on her emails i would arrive at 10am and the shoot would run between 11:30am to 1:30pm. We would break for lunch and then review photos to purchase and stated to be prepared to be in the studio till at least 4:30pm. The email stated it was a all day shoot. I took off work for this shoot. when i asked about the type vision i wanted like a lingerie Beyonce theme I was told no. I asked if I could bring a hookah to do a look where smoke blowed out my mouth but was told no it's a fire hazard. I was okay with this, no big deal. Then i asked if i could just do my own hair and makeup because I didn't see that many darker toned clients on her site/facebook/ig. I was told i had to show up ready to go by 10am. I then came back and just decided to use the hair/makeup person because it didn't make sense to wake up half past dawn to be ready by 10am. She told me the makeup lady was booked elsewhere. I advised that if the shoot starts around 11:30am why I couldn't arrive at 10am and do my makeup at the studio? I can do my makeup in 30 minutes. this isn't a hard request. She basically told me the times are generic and basically didn't answer. Who is the shoot for me or the photographer? I felt she didn't want to do the shoot and just didn't care about anything or the experience.She said it would cause for a stressful day. The shoot was a month away so getting everything setup/organized before then wouldn't cause that. She just didn't want to do it and decided to refund my money. This was a horrible experience.
