Although I…read morehave not had any work done by this company, I rang and made an appointment with Dexter to come and give me a quotation on my flat to have all the windows replaced. We arranged to meet at 12 o'clock and I said I will be there in my lunch hour between 12 and 1pm as the flat is vacant. At 12.40 I rang to see if anybody was coming. The gentleman I spoke to said he could see that I was on the board for 12 o'clock. I then said it's nearly 12:45 is anybody coming? I was told that they were very busy and he didn't like the tone of my voice. So, I asked to speak to Dexter. Dexter came on the phone and said to me that I should have phoned earlier rather than leaving it 45 minutes, I stated that I shouldn't be reminding you to keep an appointment. This he did not like and told me it wasn't an appointment it was for an estimate. I reminded him that it was for a quotation and that I stated that I would give him the business if the price was okay there and then. He then proceeded to argue with me that it was not an appointment, this went on. To me it's all the same, if they are coming to give me a price to get the business, then it's an appointment. At the end of the day, I asked when can you come and the earliest they would be able to arrive was 1:20 I reminded him I was in my lunch hour and had to go back to work and this was not convenient. Once again he didn't like my tone and could not accept that the issue was from their side and not mine. I would like to remind Dexter that I am the customer and I was looking to spend thousands of pounds with him, all I wanted was for them to turn up give me a price and agree the deal. I understand it's not a perfect world and things go wrong or you can become overwhelmed with too many customers or pressure from work. All it would have taken was a phone call to say I'm running late and I would have happily waited for as long as it took. But to turn it round and argue with me that I should have rung them because they didn't turn up and then argue with me whether it is an appointment or not is unbelievable. So in my honest opinion, due to the attitude I received and the subsequent texts received I would have to say to anyone "Stay away from this company"

The backbone of my case was to prove that they had installed a product that was not fit for purpose or of a merchantable quality. Not only were all of the windows catching but the openings had chipped corners. I also had draughty doors which didn't operate smoothly and the kitchen door frame was now loose because of all the adjustments. Also they are very rude when you contact them and ask them to rectify their problems and they say that it was your fault and not theirs! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I decided to order all new replacement windows and doors for my 2 bedroom semi, as the ones I had…read morebefore were over 30 years old and were completely useless for keeping out the cold. As the weather started to change at the beginning of November, I made an appointment for a sales person to visit, and show me a demonstration of the types of windows I could have here. I had done some initial research to find a local company who I thought would be cheaper and quicker in installing the replacements, and after reading a few good reviews on Inspire Windows, I decided to chose them. I have to say, I was surprised at the lack of pushy sales talk that you would normally associate with double glazing salesman, and the range of advice I was given on how to chose double glazing windows. It took me a while to select which ones I wanted (as there was quite a range to choose from) but I was so impressed with the quote given, that I decided to book my windows there and then. Shortly after ordering, the fitters arrived at 8:00am prompt (as pre-arranged), and set about sheeting up the entire house. They completed the job the same day, with no mess or fuss. They even fitted new window sills as my others were a bit scratched and worn. I wasn't charged any extra for this. When they'd finished, I noticed that the work had been done to a very high standard. My new windows looked amazing. The workmen left no mess behind, and were very pleasant throughout the fitting. I didn't even need to touch up the decorating around the sills as I had been expecting. You cant see any damage to the paintwork or paper where the new windows had been fitted, and I was especially pleased with this. I was also given full instructions on how to use the new lock features on my windows and doors, along with a 10 year warranty should anything go wrong with them. I was delighted with the service. Now, the amount of time I have to put my heating on has massively reduced, and the house retains the heat for longer. I feel toasty warm and comfortable all day long. Not only do my new windows keep my house lovely and warm, but they also improve the aesthetic look of my house, which I hadn't been expecting. This is particularly useful as I'm hoping to sell up and move next year. I'd have no problem recommending Inspire Windows to fit windows and doors as they did a great service for me.

A third party reversed into my car; the third party admitted liability and…read moreReserva (the third party's insurer's repair management contractor) allocated me to SMS Garages Ltd for repair, there were no reviews on SMS Garages at the time so I went with them as per the insurer's instructions, had I known then what I know now my decision would have been completely different. My car was due to be returned 2 and a half weeks after going in for repair, quite a long time for a new door skin. I was supposed to have Gard X protection applied to my car as it already had this prior to the accident. It was only when I called the garage to ask them to bring the guarantee with the car when being delivered that they admitted they had not applied this and could not source the product, my decision to go with SMS was made on the basis that the insurer confirmed the garage would apply this. It was evident the garage hoped I would not ask and they could therefore get away with not doing this. A week later someone had to come to my house to apply this product. Further to this my car was returned with rubbish left in it and an empty tank of petrol. Not long after having my car returned the paintwork started to bubble. The car therefore went back in for this to be fixed. When my car was returned the paintwork had been fixed, but my car was returned damaged, one side with a dent and paint missing, the other side with scratches and the back corner with a big mark across it. The car therefore went back in a third time. Once returned I was not satsified with the work, the dent on one side and mark at the back had been removed, but the paint that had been scratched off on one side had only been filled in, which I could have done myself, it was such an obvious touch up. I did not send the car back in because quite frankly, how long can you deal with a garage like this? For a no fault incident this whole experience has been a huge frustration and has caused me inconvenience after inconvenience, as well as additional expense. The process has taken approximately three months and throughout this time I have had to chase the garage up to be confronted with excuse after excuse, which as a customer I do not care about, I just wanted my car returned to its original state as hassle free as possible; customer service was definitely lacking. Please avoid this garage as I would not wish anyone to go through an experience like this, it really does make me wonder how garages that perform like this continue to win contracts with the insurers.

Paid money up…read morefront but 5 months later they are still making excuses, cancelling day before installation . Terrible customer skills, never call back even when staff promise they will. Quick enough to take your money but then leave you hanging. Avoid!
