Tracy at the front desk was super helpful with check in and my questions about jewelry and what not. My one feedback and note would be to mention that visitors do have the option to "try-on" jewelry if they are torn between sizes or colors of jewelry because I think some newcomers wouldn't be aware they could do that if it's not mentioned. My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! Highly recommend this studio. Very grateful and happy with the experience here.

"Regarding your wait time, management confirmed it was significantly shorter than stated" - attached are photos at 6:20pm on 4/11/26 aka the time i went in & upon arrival i asked to use the restroom, i took a selfie amongst other pics & the date & time can be found on each one. When leaving, i was asked for my information & to enroll in ur $5 off coupon which was at 8:16pm on 4/11/26. almost exactly two hours, not sure which manager looked into that but i did not randomly chose that number. Consultation - Tabitha asked via phone if i was given the option or made aware of threadless vs threaded jewelry, i was not nor was I given the option between the two. (Im assuming since you guys only carry threadless anyways.) Lacy said the piercings could get expensive when downsizing multiple sizes & when custom jewelry becomes a thing (she gave me an example of hers that have a wide flat back) which i understood. I was never told the jewelry on hand would be so flimsy or else i would have left with a spare set. or why wouldnt that be offered if its a known thing that theyre just going to break soon after? "our management team has reached out multiple times" - Tabitha called me on 4/20/26 at 2:03pm post yelp review & asking me to elaborate which i did. she apologized & said she would investigate & immediately followed up asking if i could "take down the yelp review" I initially agreed but im so glad i didnt. All that was asked of me was to pick a date & time & she will have someone replace the jewelry that broke at the el monte location but she would have to call me back & let me know if there was someone at that location who COULD do it & that she would call back. when she called back at 2:38pm 4/20/26 she stated ordering a threaded set would take 6-8 weeks & that she will order my downsize. we agreed on that solution & hungup. Then 4/28/26 Tabitha texts me & there was no solution so we could agree on so thanked her & left it at that (screenshots attached as well) "waived fees" - crazy cause you guys swear this is something special. when i get my nails done & one breaks theyre quick to fix it FOR FREE & not keep reminding me that breakage could happen nor badgering me that IM at fault for it/knew the risks. Theres no fee to waive if i want to put the jewelry in my own face for free which you guys denied me of because u didnt want to mail them to me. "we offered appointments at our other locations with free parking lots" - text attached of Tabithas convo but she definitely stated STREET parking, exactly how the LA location is so.. not sure where the "Convenience & Options" were. sorry it came to this Leo, maybe ask both sides next time instead of just listening to one.

My husband and I got matching tattoos here and for the tattoo itself it's 3 stars. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I wouldn't say the customer service has ever been outstanding, but it's generally been good. During my previous visit, I spent around $700 adding two new piercings and switching out jewelry. The piercer who helped me was incredible. I wish I could remember her name because she truly had an artist's eye. She helped curate my ears beautifully, adding charms and small triangle studs that I absolutely loved. Near the end of that appointment, while we were still in the treatment room, she asked if she could step out to do a quick jewelry change for another customer. I found that unusual as we were already in service. I also had another appointment that I needed to get to so I felt my time didn't matter! Anyways I overlooked it because I had otherwise enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my opinion. I came in to purchase a solid gold swallow bird piece, which was close to $500, and have it installed. I had seen it on Friday and returned Monday specifically to buy it. The piercer helping me, who mentioned she was new from Bakersfield, immediately came across as uninterested. When I asked about the bird jewelry, she didn't even attempt to look for it and simply said, "I don't know." The receptionist then stepped in, searched the display, and found the exact piece. It was the last one. Once we went into the piercing room, I mentioned that my current jewelry felt a little tight, but throughout the appointment her demeanor remained cold, short, and dismissive. She changed the jewelry, but when she couldn't find a bag for my previous piece, I ended up offering one from my purse. Nothing catastrophic happened, but customer service is about how you make people feel. When someone is spending hundreds of dollars on fine jewelry and trusting you with body piercings, warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness matter just as much as technical skill. Sadly, this experience left such a poor impression that I won't be returning.

This is my first time visiting i came in for back wings tattoo. as I take pictures and see the results I see that the middle is not evenly spaced apart making one wing closer to my spine and the other one more farther apart it's a small detail but very noticeable. I brought it up to my artist ( Janna) that did the tattoo but she said there was nothing wrong that it was lined up correctly she also said she talked to someone getting a second opinion. Disregarding my concerns I also have been asking multiple people if they are evenly spaced out and they all agree that they are not even. I wanted to get it fixed but apparently there's nothing wrong after sending pictures and video. I just wish the situation was handled differently as I did mention to her that it was my first time visiting this tattoo shop would I come back no would I recommend no after this. Also always ask before how long they have been tattooing because halfway through I found out she has been tattooing for 2 years and I regret getting this done all I wanted was to get it fixed now I have to pay someone to fix this for some they may say it's just a small detail but that's the whole point of tattoos I even told her I was nervous about going to new shops. She mentioned how she essentially didnt have the time to do another draw up.. but she went ahead and did it (I would have been ok to reschedule if that was genuinely the case) but She stopped speaking to me for the most part and created another drawing that I liked a little more. Once the stencil was laid, I asked several times about placement and if she thought the cover up would truly cover up the tattoo it was laid atop. This was my first cover up experience and I was a little anxious so I honestly asked several times lol and several times I was met with yes. I trusted this artist. I trusted the process. And I was severely disappointed. Immediately after leaving the shop, I could still see my original tattoo under the cover up. I texted her immediately saying I've never had a cover up but now that the skin was a little less inflamed, I could definitely still see my original tattoo. She messaged me back saying "I can't see it." And to " give it 3-4 weeks to heal and we could reassess for a touch up." But what stood out to me is her message stating, "I can't see it." As the client, telling you, the artist, I can very clearly still see my tattoo that I came to you to COVER UP and your initial response to be "I can't see it" felt insensitive and rubbed me the wrong way. But again, trusting the process. I waited 4-5 weeks and reached back out telling her I still see the original tattoo and am curious as to what touch ups could be done. She essentially told me I was able to see the original tattoo still because I didn't go with her original design and "insisted" on something else. Went on to tell me yet again how she couldn't see the old tattoo but I could probably because I'm looking for it. And how, she wouldn't really do anything else for the tattoo/ help cover it up more because it may end up looking "muddy" and recommended I "leave the tattoo as is"... The entire vibe honestly from when I initially asked for a bit more detail in my cover up piece was OFF. and maybe it's my own fault for allowing her to continue on and ink my body when I felt a shift in energy. But as stated, her instagram promoted GREAT work and more specifically GREAT cover up work. For Snow to try to literally rewrite the narrative by telling me "I insisted" on something else was absolutely absurd and felt incredibly petty and rooted in her own insecurity about me not liking her initial draw up. To make matters worse, Snow went on to leave me on read in the middle of our conversation about my dissatisfaction / scheduling the touch up appointment. No touch up appointment. No further conversation. No apology for my dissatisfaction with her work that I will have to look at EVERY day for the rest of my life. The work she ASSURED me would cover up my original tattoo with the stencil she drew up and placed and tattooed. To even insinuate I could still see the original tattoo because of some fault of my own is incredibly insulting, unprofessional, and deserves to be shared. If I can give any advice I'd say don't ignore the vibes of artists. This is my FIRST truly negative experience with an artist. And I hate that I even had to leave this review for a black owned, women owned business. But to put it frankly, I would never allow her to touch me again after this terrible experience.

Love this Black woman owned shop. Such a rare gem in this world. The vibe between all of the…read moreartists made me feel right at home the moment I walked in. Snow who did two mandalas for me in one day is amazing and fast (impeccable line work). She wastes no time but in the same breath I did not feel rushed. All the artists are encouraging of each other and their work which is refreshing atmosphere. Each artist has their own style ranging from realism to American traditional to ornamental. I highly recommend this shop. I'll definitely be back even if it's just to say hi
