Attended a wedding at Frontier Park and it's definitely a great wedding venue option for folks who…read morelive in the area. The wedding itself was held outdoors, and the trees provided great shade in the 90 degree sun. Parking was ample. The Lodge itself was a modern facility, with a nice little kitchenette. It looked like there were two event spaces at the location but I couldn't tell for sure as the doors were closed to the other one. As a former Event Coordinator, it seemed to have all the essentials and, from their website, is moderately priced. The venue loses a star for the lack of air conditioning (though this is Washington state so maybe not fair) and for smallish bathrooms given the size of the venue and the possibility of concurrent events in the same space. Finally, an interesting tidbit about Frontier Park is that it was the location of a temporary Japanese detention center during WWII, though there is little to suggest that this is the case on the site that I could find.

Frontier Park Lodge was close to our new house, was only 75 bucks an hour, and it was a beautiful, new building. One of the staff members stayed there the whole time to make sure everything went smooth, and we really had a perfect wedding. We were able to rent both sides of the building, so that we wouldn't have any downtime between the ceremony and the reception. It worked out great and we were very impressed.

(Updated Rating)…read more UPDATE: I am updating my review because Farm 12's customer service completely blew me away! After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! We ordered the Fried Cod and French Fries, which was fried to absolute perfection (perfect batter, crispy outside, soft/warm inside). The fries were spectacular, too. I only wish the sides of coleslaw and pickles were a bit larger. We also had the Salmon Farro Bowl, which featured beautifully cooked salmon and a nice medley of veggies and avocado. It was a little bland for my personal taste, but it is a fantastic, clean option for health-conscious diners. My first visit was clearly just a fluke due to a busy weekend crowd. I truly appreciate their proactiveness in reaching out, the beautiful ambiance, and the excellent food. I will definitely be visiting again!

The truffle fries were excellent. It was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. They had a nice truffle flavor without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the French dip was disappointing. The bread was toasted to the point that it was hard, making the sandwich difficult to enjoy. More importantly, the beef was very sparse for a $28 sandwich. It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.
