Thankfully, Elite Pool Designs put all of our fears to rest thanks to their amazing customer service, fair prices and excellent, high quality work. We previously had a koi pond in our backyard but, as the fish died out, realized we wanted something else back there instead. We reached out to Elite Pool and Cyndi and she came over the next day to assess our yard. As we had no idea where to start, she helped guide us through the whole process, connecting us with surveyors, tree removal experts and all of the other hidden things you don't think about when you decide "I want a pool". After the work to get the yard ready was done, we went to the Elite Pool offices to pick out the tile, lining and design of the pool. Cyndi walked us through the shape and features we wanted, and provided a very reasonable quote for everything, including, automation, a heater for the pool (hey it DOES sometime get cold here!) and a screen enclosure. Construction for the pool started in October 2024 and finished in late January 2025, and our hat goes off to Robert (owner of Elite Pool) for his help with managing the entire project. Crews arrived as needed and on time, and though there were some periods between steps where not a lot of work was being done, it was never unreasonable and given the holidays, totally fair. Inspection and electrical were simple and easy and now we are ready to enjoy our pool! The total agreed downpayment was $27,792.95, which I paid in full upfront via wire transfer. This payment represented the contract down-payment to start work. The contractor assured me the work would begin promptly, including obtaining necessary permits from Palm Beach County and commencing excavation, plumbing, structural, and finishing work. However, no permits were obtained (I confirmed this with Palm Beach County Building Division records). No work of any kind has been performed on the site and we had to hire a different contractor. I first became aware that the contractor had no intention of performing the work in October 2024, when repeated requests for updates, start dates, or progress went unfulfilled beyond vague excuses. Since then, I have maintained ongoing contact with the contractor via text messages and calls. In every communication, the contractor has acknowledged receipt of my payment but provided only stories and promises of repayment or future action, with no actual refund or meaningful resolution. Examples include: Promises to "send a check next week" that never materialized. Claims of "financial issues" or "waiting on suppliers" without evidence. Assurances that work would start "soon" repeated with zero follow-through. This pattern demonstrates financial dishonesty/misconduct (misuse or misappropriation of funds paid for a specific project) and abandonment of the job after receiving substantial payment without just cause or written extension. The contractor has failed to commence work within required timelines under F.S. 489.126 and has not refunded any portion despite demands. This has caused me significant financial harm ($27,792.95 lost), and emotional distress.

He wanted the water to back up, since it had drained some during the night. He turned on the tub faucet and let it run. It ran and ran, but never backed up. He said it happens sometimes after pumping the tank. He said we needed nothing else. Charged a small service fee, that would be waives if we needed anything in the future. Can't recommend his business any higher. They are total professionals, honest and very personable. I will never use anyone else!!!!

I wish we could leave a 0 stars to this business, we contracted Connors Decorative Concrete Inc. to…read morerefurbish our pool deck, replace the drains and painted, Jeffrey Connor was the person that identified as the owner and my husband and I signed the contract with for $4,000, deposit of $2,000 They (2 people) start 8/27 they worked on the deck for 3 days during this time my husband was concern about the way they were doing the drain because they covered the drain with concrete and left a little cut straight over it that was the only way for the water to go through in the drain , Jeffrey explain to my husband that was the only way to do it for the water to go out, when I get home the day that day suppose finished the job , one of the color that we picked was wrong , we called him and he said that was a mistake and he came on Saturday 8/30 painted with the color we ordered, he called and asked my husband for the rest of the money that Saturday, my husband ZELLED $2,000.00 the balance pending. We wait until Sunday afternoon to walk on the deck and look at the final product, for our surprise the concrete on the drain was all cracked and collapsing, there were cracks on different areas of the deck and the paint was all uneven around the pool, we called Connors to come and check the situation, he came couple of days later and promise that this time he will do the drain different way and the right way, and he will be painting around the pool and fix the cracks. He installed a drain net on top of the ditch but multiple pieces attached unevenly to each other, the ditch is to big for the net, there's cracks still on the deck areas, we called him and again he offer to send back $1,050.00 for the drain A company is charging us $2,250.00 to fix this mess. We want at least half of the money back to have this done the right way, NEVER trust reviews this Company is 5 stars but they 3 reviews over supposedly 10 years of experience, definitely friends and family rate.
