My previous OB/GYN had dismissed my abdominal pain as "probably just cramps" but it wasn't cramps and it never went away for months. It got worse and worse. I felt that I probably needed a second opinion, so I scheduled an appointment with the Physicians Clinic Women's Center. My first appointment with Dr Lange was such a relief. I felt vindicated. She listened to me, took me seriously, and when I was done describing my problem, she immediately sent me over for an ultrasound. She found that I had a massive dermoid cyst on one of my ovaries. She scheduled a laparoscopic surgery and took out the fist-sized ovary through a tiny incision in my belly button. Upon biopsy, it was found to be cancerous and had just recently turned malignant. It hadn't had time to spread yet. She explained everything to me in great detail and made sure that I understood all that she was telling me entirely. She is attentive, kind, and compassionate. The funny thing was, she was really stoked about the tiny belly button incision healing perfectly and leaving no scarring. I honestly couldn't have cared less about whether I had a scar or not! I was just happy to be alive! This amazing Dr. saved my life! I have been a patient of hers ever since and I definitely recommend her without a doubt to anyone who is looking for an OB/GYN.

I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for an appointment. I only have two criticisms: late afternoon appointments can be hard to come by, and I usually have to book them months in advance. The other is that they can be very slow with medication refills. I'm not too fond of calling them and lighting a fire to get them to do refills promptly.

He has treated me like a family member and continues to be one of the top doctors on "my team". I am not a diabetic but I have severe neuropathy which requires constant monitoring and he has been there the whole time. He goes above and beyond. His office is small but absolutely worth the wait. You see the Doctor, no PA's or NP's. He takes the time to listen to you and all your issues. He is an excellent surgeon, but makes sure you need an operation before he cuts. One of my stories is that I was not going to be admitted to the hospital because the admitting doctor thought I just had a respiratory issue. My daughter called Dr. DiNucci to tell him I wouldn't be at my appointment and the reason. He came to the hospital and explained to the emergency room doctor that he was my doctor and I needed to be admitted because something wasn't right. As it turned out I had MRSA and it had went systemic. The infectious disease doctor told me that if I had not been admitted, I would have probably died that night. Dr. DiNucci saved my life! This Doctor is worth it.

My next appointment was for yesterday but they refused to see me because they never sent me the lab work to get done. In addition, even though they had scheduled the appointment they said they couldn't do it anyway because they have a strict 3 month waiting period. However I'm having major surgery on October 8th. Rachel was incredibly rude. She said we don't send patients lab orders. I said why didn't the doctor tell me that on July 8th? She said that patients are responsible for reminding them to do their jobs. Rachel interrupted me continuously during the conversation. I was polite the entire time, she was obviously incapable of the same level of courtesy. I regret ever coming here. When you go in their office you are usually the only one in their very large waiting room. And after reading some of the reviews I can see why. I am guessing they will be out of business soon as they have quite a few doctors in their office but I've never seen more than one other patient in the waiting room.

I can only speak to my experience with Dr. Brownell, but she and her nursing assistant were very professional and helpful. Reception is where I think some improvements can be made. The staff ranged from curt to apathetic. I didn't really feel very welcome. The same was true when I called and spoke to someone on the phone. She just didn't sound like she enjoyed her job or wanted to help potential patients. The appointment reminders and paperwork ask you to come to your appointment 30 minutes early. When you get there they give you a handful of papers to sign, but even if you fill them out slowly it would take you maybe 10 minutes to do so. This gives you 20 minutes to sit in the waiting room. I get that they probably do this so that their doctors don't get behind, but then it really does make your wait extra long as a patient. Just not the best experience. My doctor's staff was slow in calling in my prescription at the pharmacy.
