You can also buy certain supplies such as first aid kits and cpr kits here. You sign up for the classes online and you can pay by credit card. There are at least classes once a week. Parking is scarce so come early. Park by the Van Wyck highway, there are no meters there. If you don't, you are going to have to pay for parking. The classes "fly" by quickly.

It was just me and him but it went smoothly and quickly. He turned on the video for me to see the movements I would have to demonstrate. He maintained a running dialogue and kept information grounded to real world, every day life use. He assisted in my stance and even ran through a practice scenario in which we played it like it may happen in the future. At the end, I had the option to do additional modules for children and infants, etc. but I declined. This class is not expensive at all - especially when you factor in that he's teaching you life saving techniques. I opted to return again, this time with my family so we all can learn children and infant cpr as we have a preschooler in the house and now that I've vetted the place, I've confident that the experience and information being presented to us will be done the same way. He offers same day certification and will give you your card on the spot after class is over. I very highly recommend if you are looking to learn CPR and be taught the information in such a way that it's understandable and retainable, come here.

Ernst and Reina have a ton of experience and a wealth of medical knowledge. They make the class as enjoyable as possible. No long, boring videos from the 80s. Upon her handing me the document, I expressed excitement and she stated, "You don't even know if you're going to be approved," this happened after she never introduced herself to me, knowing my name and that we had been corresponding via email. She only told me her name after I asked; pretending not to know who I was. Note that she responded to my repeated request for the information at the ninth hour. It's almost as though she deliberately treated me this way in order to get me to not pursue the program. Well, it worked, and I've BEEN APPROVED for a better program! This encounter may appear inconsequential to many, but I wasn't about to commute from afar to learn under this type of negative energy.
