I've been by a few times. Becca was my original piercer. I've been to Rachael the most recently. Parking lot is tight. Only a few spaces available. Staff is always friendly. They spend a lot of time answering questions and managing the wait list. You can walk in for the wait list but there is no guarantee you'll be seen that day. It's best to make an appointment with the individual staff member. Rachael does it through her website link. But I've made about 3 appointments online and am definitely seen at my appointment time. Every experience I've had is good when I see the actual piercer. She explains everything to me and each person is very picky about making sure the location is good for the piercing. Rachael would even start over several times with her marker to make sure it's even and satisfactory to her. It's great they're getting really busy since they opened. Please be patient and kind to them. Each piercer refuses to rush a job and they barely get to take a break when I stop in on weekends. Let them take as much time for each client as they need. I'm sure you'd want the same attention for yourself. I need to stop going back because I keep piercing more and more things. But I'll be back at least for my follow up for my tragus. read more

We came in with an appointment for my daughter some piercings. Parking is TIGHT but the shop is absolutely beautiful! Clean and smells good. It's welcoming. And staff greeted us upon entering, walked us through the process and the options for jewelry. The piercing process was done in a private room and not out on the floor which was nice. She walked through the process as she was doing the piercing and also explained the cleaning and maintenance process. They have a few couches available to sit and relax while you wait. Stopped in to buy a new nose ring. The jewelry case up front has a pretty selection, and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I had to return to the shop after buying a stud for my nose piercing because I couldn't get it in my nose. The girl who had initially sold me the jewelry was able to install it quickly and at no charge, which was very kind! read more

I got my first piercings (lobes, $80 for both) on 9/16. I came in a little nervous as a walk in and the staff were all very nice and the overall vibe of the building was really nice and welcoming! Rachel brought me to the piercing room and explained everything very well, making sure I was comfortable and had water. Overall everything took about 45-60 minutes. Over the past couple days since, swelling and pain has been minimal to none with proper cleaning as I was instructed! I've received some piercings here in the past, and the experience was great, so I thought to give them a try for my next tat. I reached out to request an appointment date that is almost 2 months away. I received a generic response that no appointments were available that day. No apology, or an offer to schedule for a different day. Not the best way to secure a potential repeat customer! I would never ever support this business. They lie. I'll be going to Bloom Body in South Tampa for all my piercings from now on. Bloom did my rook piercing with no issues or drama and I regret not returning. Daria, the owner and Becca, the piercer are a joke at Heart in Hand. Her response to my original review is repulsive. It's my review and she wasn't even present at my initial visit. She obviously can't comprehend well based on her response to my review, doesn't possess the cognitive skills or just doesn't give AF. Anyway it's not my business getting bad reviews. This place lacks customer service skills at all. Just watch how Daria responds to negative reviews. It tells you everything about their lack of communication and ability to problem solve. Instead of trying to resolve problems, they put gasoline on them. They even try to disparage the customer. They insisted that I didn't hear what I heard and although I said it's all good I have no problems in paying they still wanted to argue. When someone says I'll pay just take the money. Now when someone gets an attitude with me I match the energy. I'm not the one with the attitude-they are. I'm not the one with the shitty business a they are. She even called me a Karen. Look at my pic. They don't even know what that means. ‍ They are the Karens so watch out people of color. BTW, she took the money with the energy she gave me. They're wolves.... Anyone who does business with them get everything in writing or record it because either their memory cells are fried or they change policy and try to pull a fast one over on you. When you tell someone something is free it's free not free with catch. The ultimate bait and switch. Better yet just go to Bloom Body Art on Dale Mabry in South Tampa for piercings.
