I would like to write about my poor service I recieved and dissatisfaction with the "Audiologist" Tammie Washington Bowie. The one star is for Lisa, she works at the front desk very nice lady. Tammie isn't nice at all! My first day with Tammie was the worst audiologist I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I had a few audiologist since I was a kid. Tammie is RUDE! not only she is rude, she is very impatient, fidgety, nervous energy, again no patience whatsoever. Let me explain why. My first day there I got bad vibes from Tammie immediately. She rushed me the entire time I was there on my first day. While in the booth to take my hearing test it went okay, until she laughed at how bad my hearing is. She said wow your hearing is bad and you failed the word test terribly-saying this all while laughing thinking it is funny. Not only she thinks me failing was funny. She was talking to me with her mask on. I had to tell her that I read lips duh. She can see herself and said herself that my hearing is terrible than proceed to wear a mask talking to me. She also had a habit of turning her back and trying to hold a conversation, that is why I called her RUDE. She gets very fidgety and nervous around me, during our conversation about new hearing aids. she just rushed me through everything. I could never ask her questions without her looking annoyed or giving me funny weird looks. The weirdest thing she didnt have no customers waiting. I never understood why she was always in a rush. I got some old old school hearing aids, so I was upgrading to newer model hearing aids, of course im going to have questions about them. I have no clue how to work these things, especially using an app. She just rushed me through everything and refuse to tell me how to work certain functions.. My review is very long because I realized i was being ABUSED by Tammie Washington Bowie! When it was time to do the ear molding.. she pushed a needle like instrument in my ear, like literraly pushed it in my ear extremly hard. I was wincing and moving in pain the entire time. I have never ever had an audiologist use a sharp object in my ear doing molding. I really believe she used this to hurt my ear on purpose, then when I asked for q tip because it made my ear hurt and itch badly she looked at me like I was crazy. This fake audiolgist is the worst! I got my hearing aids a few days later and came back she was still up to her fidgety, nervous acting, crazy energy and rushing me out when I got my hearing aid. Again, at my appointment I am always the only one there. I dont understand the rush and cant answer my questions. When she attemp to show me how to download hearing aid app, she snatches my phone out of my hand and start controlling my phone while ranting that i have too many stuff up on my phone.. I ended up reporting Tammie to Lisa which that didn't solve anything, she is just the front desk. I ended up telling Tammie how I felt, she appologized and said she will do better. I had some problems with my new upgraded hearing aids I don't know how to work them properly. Tammie told me to come back and she will explain everything. I go back and it the same ole thing, and same ole weird behavior. And we had to back in forth about her trying to talk to me with her mask on. I am always masked up when I go, and you would think these "audiologist" would wear Clear Mask. duh?! to make things easier nope they don't. I got tired of not knowing how to operate my new upgrade hearing aids that I took them back and went to another Audiologist. My new Audiologist in Kennessaw is wayyyyyyy better. Tammie abused me so bad, that I thought It was me or something. Nope, it obvious Tammie! My new audiologist talked to me with her mask down, explained everything to me about new upgrade hearing aids, how to work them on my phone, she even played loud noise in the background to see if I can still hear her with loud noise.. I mean she was the best and very accomodating. It made our meeting very smooth and fast. I asked my questions and she answered them no problems, and she actually had another customer waiting on her.. she didnt rush me not one time and answered all my questions. Tammie is a terrible abusive "audiologist" something needs to be done about her behavior. Im quite sure she is abusing other people because their office stay empty. I hope her boss or the owner reads this and reach out to me, because I want to report her to a hire up. Tammie seem like she is not mentally well at all, so she abuses people like me thinking we dont have a voice or wont say nothing. read more

Dr Leach was professional, helpful and very efficient. I can hear again! Her staff is very polite and they handled my whole case to my utmost satisfaction. She even honored and insurance discount that I wasn't eligible for until 2018! Happy camper here. read more

Refuses to bill my insurance for hearing aids after stating that she would initially, because she "doesn't feel like dealing with it". After arguing with us in her office, she agreed to let us leave with the hearing aid & she would bill our insurance. Now she's sending my husband emails demanding we return the hearing aid and has been most difficult to deal with. My insurance covers up to $2,000 in hearing aid cost, per ear, per year (my husband is a govt employee) she keeps insisting that we'll be responsible for $1,000 out of pocket even though I've met my total out of pocket maximum for the year. She says they'll only pay 10% over invoice, fair right? Then why is she charging $1,875 for one aid. The same one she's demanding we return via FedEx and insure for only $800. It's because insurance will only pay $880 for that specific aid, not her crazy up charge, and once she bills insurance she can't force me to pay the difference between what they covered & what she's charging. It's fraud. And Dr. Leach needs to be called out for her abhorrent business practices. read more

My daughter had an appointment there today for her 3 month old baby. She received bad direction over the phone from the staff twice trying to get there and had to ask an officer for help finding the place, then when she did arrive she was treated badly for being late. The baby had to be asleep for the test and was upon arriving so the staff felt it necessary to vacuum the waiting area which woke her up. Then they were really rude to my daughter because she couldn't get the baby back to sleep. After being there for over an hour she was told she could "hang out" there until 3 to see if the baby would fall asleep, however, if someone else was there for their appt she would just have to hope the baby stayed asleep till they were done. When she chose to just go head and leave she was threatened that they would notify the State on her if she didn't make another appt. She made an appt BUT WITH A DIFFERENT DOCTOR! If you want understanding and help with a small child I would suggest you go else where cause it doesn't exist at HEARING SOLUTIONS! read more
