I checked back with Aetna and they recommended Rockwell Hearing Center. I could not have been more pleased. He did extra tests that the Indiantown Road center had omitted and fitted me with the best hearing aids (at no cost to me) I have ever had in 12 years. Great hearing at home, TV, groups and phone. I do have a problem stilling in his waiting room for 30 minutes and then 30 minutes more in the back room waiting for him. His office staff is ok, but no-one in the office is very friendly. Because i cannot sit for 45-60 minutes at one time i am being forced to find another ENT. My wife does not mind the long wait, she is happy with everything to do with him and his office. I'm glad because i think he is a good doctor.. I wish I could stay with him, But I think he a little abrupt when working on me. I think everything he has done with and for me has been correct. After months of my Mother experiencing extreme…read moredeafness with her hearing aid, with two ENT appts in two states with recommendations of surgery or antibiotics... and the technician on Burns Road wanting to charge $100 just to increase the volume in her hearing aid, this clinic increased her volume with two different manageable programs for nothing near $100. We almost cancelled a planned cruise because of her deafness and all she needed was an increase in the aid's volume!!!! which I could have been instructed how to do on a basic level...or have a technician provide different programs for different background noise..I didn;t know either was an option. We suffered with her deafness for almost two months!!! Sometimes the medical profession is extreme in their treatment measures and nothing but FRUSTRATING!!!! I found this man to be extremely thoughtful and caring in his approach to my 93 year old mom with dementia and her issue. The ENTs and their approach were SOOOOO disappointing!!!! So I encourage second opinions and thinking outside the box!
