He does not over prescribe medications if your issues are related to allergies or sinus, but does offer solid advice on how to address them in our south Florida climate. He articulately explained how hearing loss, if left untreated, would contribute to cognitive decline, and affect other conditions such as diabetes and cardiac disease and high BP. Bottom line, I like him. A lot. He is part of a large practice with lots of support staff, and they all seem to work well together. And he isn't stuffy and full of himself. I live in a number of locations but only seek ENT help from Dr. Aronsohn. His staff is amazing and they care. Trust trust trust me....this is the best doctors office and doctor above all my other doctors. I am 65 and have seen them all (if you see my point). I also tend to see how things play out over time before sharing my thoughts. Especially when it comes to a cosmetic procedure. In this case, Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) for two of my three daughters. It all started two years ago with my eldest daughter. Like the rest of Boca, we visited two very popular (with the Boca crowd at least) Rhinoplasty doctors for an evaluation. As usual, they conducted an evaluation of my daughter while listening to her "wants" and of course, providing pictures of what her nose would look like post-procedure. As a courtesy, i don't want to provide names of who she saw, but in both instances, it felt rushed and almost "factory" like. Just one of those situations where my daughter felt like a number. So, we continued our search. A few weeks later, we saw an ad for Dr. Hancock and decided to schedule a visit to see what she had to say. OMG, what a difference. First of all, the experience of just the first visit was night and day compared to the first two. Dr. Hancock is a rare breed when it comes to visiting a Doctor in FL. Unlike so many of the rest, she actually cares about her patients. She actually took as much time as needed to truly understand what my daughter was looking for. And after fully hearing my daughter's thoughts, provided insight and advice that made the experience that much more authentic. We were blown away with her professionalism, kindness and warmth! Admittedly, at that point, we didn't know anybody that had a nose job performed by Dr. Hancock. That said, we truly felt that it was the best decision for our daughter, and decided to move forward with the procedure. Then came procedure day. I can't believe the effort that Dr. Hancock put forth in making my daughter comfortable. Her team (including Anesthesiologist) were extremely caring and personable. What was even more satisfying, was the followup after the procedure. Dr. Hancock's staff is as caring as you would expect. They bent over backwards to make sure my daughter was satisfied. Now, let me tell you about the results. OMG!!! For the year prior to the procedure, my daughter would show me pictures of her friend's nose jobs done by other Doctors. It looked like each and every one of them were in a boxing match after surgery. I have never seen swelled faces like i did with practically all the pictures i was shown. It made me really nervous that my daughter would have to go through the amount of pain and swelling that many of her friends had experienced. Guess what? Very little bruising or swelling. Practically no pain after the procedure! I couldn't believe it. But of course, the proof is in the final result, which takes a handful of months+ to fully heal. Allow me to be perfectly frank. The final result was absolutely amazing! Exactly what both my daughter and Dr. Hancock envisioned. Here we are, two years later and my "middle" daughter just had her rhinoplasty completed last week. Amazingly, she had basically zero pain and bruising and swelling was as minimum as it gets. I can't get over the fact of how lucky my family was to meet Dr. Hancock. We have one more to go in the next few years and you better believe the decision has already been made! If you are like us and have daughters in need of Rhinoplasty, you absolutely must visit with Dr. Hancock before deciding who to go with. You will be beyond thankful that you did. She's that good!
