The most painful thing I've endured in my 70+ years. Askat was my ideal-he explained the techniques, the science or mystery behind the art, which I really appreciated. Great "bedside" manner, a very wry wit, a very comfortable table and space, and mostly importantly, EFFECTIVE. I have used Accupuncture for a long time, mostly as a prophylaxis, and Askat used several methods that transformed me from a mess to a functional being. And then I was beset with an GI issue that arose in the meantime. He treated me for it while dealing with the back issue. I went to ER at the urging of too many people the same day. Their tests revealed I was quite healthy but they could not explain my issue. The day after his treatment and my ER visit, I got up without any issues and have remained that way. I couldn't explain why I was "cured" as ER gave me nothing. When I returned for another back treatment and then recalled his treating my GI. Epiphany! I would call him a god, but as a devout atheist (thank god!), that would be wrong. And he would be the last one to claim that mantle. Do yourself a favor and visit Desert Wellness. It was until the past few years, that these migraines would start off as sinus pressure then lead to migraines. I was desperate, tired and averaging 4 migraines a week that last too long. My friend suggested trying acupuncture. I did some research and ended up finding Han Acupuncture. I made my call, receptionist was quite pleasant and made a easy, I was able to be seen fairly quick. Upon arrival, the office was very welcoming and clean. I saw Dr.Han on my first visit. She's very sweet, calm and explained everything and asked many questions. I wasn't at all nervous I'd have to say more ex than anything. Very hopeful this will help. I went in on a Friday and my next appointment was in 5 days. Surprisingly no headaches after my first session! I was amazed. It is now 3 sessions in 1 week span and I've not had any headaches-migraines-sinuses. Im amazed! On my most recent visit I also had a massage ( I believe her name is Delayna) she was AMAZING! It was much needed and she was magical! Im thrilled to start this new journey. I highly recommend especially if your on the fence.

Wednesdays at 1:30 we gather at Pan Pacific Park to get our Qi on. So far we have gone over Yang Style 24 Form, and we also started learning some Ba Gua, as well as doing a lot of qi building foundational exercises. He gives us homework too so we have things to work on at home to keep building the qi. It's so nice to take advantage of living in LA by actually getting outside in the nice weather once a week, I highly recommend it. We also have videos that we can watch at home to help with the practice, which is good because I don't have the best memory. If you become a student, Dr. Singh may let you see his very impressive Tai Chi video in which he performs difficult feats with the strength of his qi.
