Still my favorite place for a massage in Big Bear. This is our third visit in three years, and…read moreevery time it has been wonderful. Today, my friend had a 90 minute massage with Kristee and I had a 90 minute massage with Angie. They both were incredibly good. The best massage I've had in a long time. Plus, they are both so nice. The 90 minute massage included a hot stone massage and aromatherapy. It was $155. Totally recommend, and we will be back on our next visit to Big Bear!

More expensive than I've ever paid even on a cruise ship, but I get it-it's a resort town. Everything went great until it didn't. Be aware that in the end, they charge a hefty credit card fee, as each therapist is an independent contractor. We didn't know this. With their already high prices (conveniently including their own chosen amount tip already included for themselves) the credit card fee can be well over $20. Then I'm also paying a credit card fee on the top? Nah. Since I'm not really into paying unnecessary fees, I was then told that one technician takes only Venmo or Zelle. And the other ONLY Zelle. This complicated things as we don't typically use those payment apps (we do use Apple Cash, but neither accepted those. And of course we weren't carrying around $700 in cash. (I could have brought cash, had I known). So then the uncomfortable awkwardness came. Yeah I could have just paid the fee and been done but I was aggravated that this was not disclosed anywhere on their website. Not that they were independent contractors nor the % fee for credit cards nor the limited payment apps. We double checked while there and couldn't find anything on their site. Additionally when I made the reservation I was prepared to prepay and offered but the receptionist stated that we would pay at the time of service, which is most frustrating because she didn't mention why or anything about additional fees or limited payment options. So, all the stress that was just removed IMMEDIATELY came back. It was embarrassing also because a large party came in and crowded the small waiting area and some other older technician came over and demanded we pay NOW so they could begin with their new clients. I thought she was "the boss" but no, just asserting power. Because of that I'm tempted to even lower another star rating, which I did just because of that. Our therapists were nice about it, but looked worried, which they needed not be. We are good people. We worked it out with making a phone call and having the 2 payments sent. But I thought people should know this before they go: The techs are independent contractors. They each add on their own tip (as stated on their website) but how much that is-you don't know Some techs only take certain types of payment And one older tech was not compassionate about the situation and pretty much humiliated us for not wanting us to pay extravagant needless credit card fees. We will try a different place next time. But at least others will know if they read this.

We were in the lobby for 4 hours before being seen by a doctor. I'm assuming they are under staffed. There was a girl who was deathly ill and sobbing in the lobby. I don't think anyone checked on her or spoke to her despite her cries. I separated my shoulder. The first time they called me was to get my blood pressure and general info, so I was invited inside the clinical area. While I was sitting there, some dude was walking around. I don't remember exactly what he was wearing, but I don't think he was in scrubs. He was telling me he thinks my shoulder is broken and that it's gonna be a lengthy recovery. Not something anyone would want to hear. I questioned his credibility and asked him really? He said we can "bet money on it"... It was really unprofessional. He wanted to prove some weird point that he's confident that he can guess my diagnosis. Later the doctor came with the X-Ray results and it ended up just being a separation. And no broken bones (thanks weird unprofessional dude for the awkward interaction and trying to convince me that I had a broken bone). The clinical staff was great. The doctor was caring and answered my questions. I was also helped by a male nurse, he was good too and hardworking. If only the wait time wasn't so long, but I understand the clinical staff did their best. Either they are understaffed or lots of people had incidents that day, hence the long wait time.

I decided to ask her for help, and it was the best decision I could've made. I did not spend a lot of time around babies before having one, and so I think that newborn phase was extra stressful for me. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and took care of my baby so I could rest and recover. Not only that, she educated me on ways to help encourage my baby's development. She was able to entertain my extremely active newborn and take care of her with ease. I recommend hiring a postpartum doula in general, but especially Babetta!!

After having steady contractions since 6am, I started having serious contractions around dinner time at my apartment. I called her to say it miiiiight be time, but I was skeptical if this was the real moment or not. She showed up with all of her doula gear and overnight bag right away! She set up her diffuser, and helped my partner squeeze my hips to help alleviate the pain. I sat in the bathtub and she distracted me so I'd chill out a bit. The biggest thing is she helped me keep my cool during some major back labor craziness. A funny moment that I'll never forget - I asked her if I could take a sleeping pill or melatonin or something so I could sleep a bit through this crazy early labor. She says "I think you're having a baby sooner than you think..." I was thinking, seriously? We ended up going to the hospital less than an hour later. Good thing I wasn't zonked out LOL! Anyways, Babetta stayed by my side from early labor until after the baby was born! She offered comfort and relaxation, reminded me to breathe, advocated for me to the doctors, and helped my mom and partner with whatever they needed. I'd recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!
