From the moment I walked into her space, I felt a sense of calm and peace that I hadn't experienced in a long time. Gina's presence is incredibly soothing, and she has a unique gift for making you feel completely at ease. During the session, I could feel a powerful shift in my energy. It was as if she was able to tap into the deepest parts of my being and release blocks I didn't even know I had. The experience was profoundly spiritual, bringing me a sense of clarity and inner peace that I had been searching for. I left the session feeling lighter, more centered, and with a clearer vision of my path forward. Gina's healing energy work is nothing short of miraculous. Her intuitive abilities and genuine care for her clients make every session a truly transformative experience. If you're looking for deep spiritual clarity and a powerful healing experience, I highly recommend Gina. I am incredibly grateful.

What do you want to look for in a energy healer? How can you tell who's a good pick? I would say…read morelook for these 4 things at minimum (in order of most important to least important IMO). 1) They radiate good vibes/positive energy. - You should feel like they are a breathe of fresh air when they are around. Some people are doing energy work on everybody when deep down they are not at peace and should focus on helping themselves. Avoid receiving energy work from people who could be burying anger, etc-- some people say this stuff can transfer from healer to client. 2) Check out where they were certified, what level, and whether it is an authentic lineage with highly experienced masters training their students. - Use caution with any "instant reiki certification" popups. Skills take time to develop, not just 3 hours on a saturday, a hefty price tag, and a quick attunement. 3) Make sure they're "About That Life." - Again, this weeds out paper chasers versus people who are passionate about genuinely healing you, others, & the world. These people are diligently learning new skills to become more well-rounded, healthier happier individuals. They continue to take new courses and add to their wellness arsenal to improve their services.  They never seem to be focused on money and getting super rich, rather they just continue to do what they love and truly enjoy making you feel better. Getting paid is just a bonus or reward from the universe for following their heart in service. You too, will find yourself feeling happy to compensate them after a reiki session that leaves you high and excited for your life & future. (If not, then you might need to try a different reiki practitioner). 4) They should have good recommendations. - If someone has a gift, whoever they work on will typically run off and rave to everybody they care about after the session, preaching good things. If you're thinking of getting reiki from someone and haven't heard anything about them, then consider doing a trade to see if their skills are at a level you can feel (or if you can't feel, but suddenly good changes happen in your life, then that's a sign it's working too). Nonetheless, my experience with Gina has been all of the above. She absolutely lovvvvves what she does and it's apparent and contagious.  She gives with her whole heart, and feels like fresh air when we energetically collaborate. Upon her first visit, I felt like my new living arrangement didnt feel homey.  I honestly didn't want her to come over. She insisted that it's fine and made me feel comfortable. She also offered a house blessing service which I accepted.  After it was done & I had received my reiki, the place finally felt more homey & inviting to me and I started to settle into it better. I highly encourage you to consider inviting Gina to your home, blessing the space and yourself with some good reiki energy. Looking forward to our next session Gina, thank you! :)

Years ago this group was in Oakland Park, and it was amazing. I visited the group now in 2026 in…read moretheir Lauderdale by the Sea location, and I could not have been more disappointed. The environment was super cliquey and unwelcoming. No one but a couple of staff even spoke with me, and some "clique" members were outright rude. The most upsetting part of the visit, other than the dismissiveness by the "members" to me as a newcomer, was my interaction with the resident teacher after the class. A few people were standing around chatting, and after thanking the teacher for the class, I pointed out that I was new and a bit surprised to see the center used plastic cutlery and plastic water bottles. The words were barely out of my mouth when she cut me off. She became visibly annoyed and defensive. Ironically, her teaching that day had been on the perils of self-cherishing, and on compassion for others. Well, her reaction to my comment was highly incompassionate and very self cherishing! Talk about non-consistent! [As an aside, my understanding was that Buddhists care for and do no harm to all living beings - hence my surprise about the non eco-friendly kitchen stuff]. Anyway - the fact that attendance at the old center was 50+ people on the main nights, and that it is down to maybe 10 people at this site, probably tells you everything you need to know. After this experience, I did a Google search on this center, and discovered many others had had similar experiences. For example this: "Many former participants across different NKT centers report that the social dynamic becomes heavily insular. The core group of volunteers and dedicated practitioners frequently forms a tight, unapproachable "clique" centered strictly around serving the resident teacher and maintaining the building. Newcomers or returning casual practitioners often report feeling ignored or viewed solely as potential recruits for the harder study programs, destroying the organic, warm community feel that older centers like Oakland Park used to have." - Reddit. Amazing. Almost identical to my experience. What a shame. I'm staying away.
