Dr. Min Tian has truly amazing talent and knowledge of the Eastern art of acupuncture. Having ruined my back, in an accident, I was learning to live with the pain, while weaning myself from pain medicine, that kept me too loopy to function. Most of the pain could be alleviated by lying prone, elevation of my legs, proper placement of pillows, ice, heat, I was learning lots of tricks! Then my sciatic nerve decided to play unfair. After nearly a month of that horrible pinching pain in my hip (butt cheek, actually!), I mentioned it to Dr. Min Tian. She had already inserted the needles in me for my session, but was very happy to do a little adjustment in the placement of several before leaving me to my 30 minutes of restful relaxation. The very next day, my pain was totally gone in my buttocks. I was totally amazed. And instantly turned into a true believer! Don't let the fear of the needles stop you from the experience. Once inserted, you can hardly feel them! And the rewards are so worth it! Keep in mind that acupuncture is not just for pain relief. Waited half an hour post appointment time and had to follow up before I was attended to. Gave paperwork but had no initial consultation. I fact my chart was read wrong initially and she thought I meant stomach not shoulder. When that was clarified we moved to another room and i was asked to lay down on my side. I mentioned pain on right shoulder and neck area and back. only my shoulder/neck area was addressed. There was a cursory check of one part of neck and one part of shoulder. Only asked how long the pain was. She put about 4 needles and did cups quickly. Post treatment pain was the same. No questions about relief. Was sent to reception for billing and for them to take photo of my tongue. Should that not have been part of the initial consultation? Was given pills and charged 130 then she corrected receptionist to say 140 because of pills. By the evening pain was the same if not worse. I emailed and was told to drink more hot water. Pain is just as bad.

It was clear from speaking with their office manager that they don't care about patients but only about filling "slots" to get money. They don't work on Fridays, so they counted my call to them as late. They have the option of picking up messages on Fridays but they don't. If they cared about patients, they would have compassionate office practices. Most of their reviews tetify that in instance after instance, they just don't care about their patients.
