But I was especially horrified at the last visit! First, the two male therapists who were assigned to my friend and I REEKED of cigs. When they started a massage with what should've been a nice head massage, I realized their fingers were the source of the cigarette stench! When they start on your arms and your shoulder area, they open hand rub the front of your shoulders, which makes them kind of get your chest! They should not be massaging there! Someone wrote a previous review that mentioned boundaries were crossed and I have to imagine this was what she was talking about. The foot massage was fine. All hell kind of breaks loose once you flip over for the 30 minute back massage. My friend and I were both dying! I have had so many massages in my life- I even have a monthly membership at one of the popular massage chains. Every vacation I go on I get a massage. This was like getting a random biker off the side of the road to give a massage. It was so aggressive and painful and I'm pretty sure they were applying pressure to places where you are not supposed to. Walpole board of health- please check licenses and certifications! They probably need to implement a handwashing practice, as well. I definitely had cigarette fingers all over me. Oh, and by the way. We tried to communicate with the men that we were in pain and they didn't listen, care, adjust, or seek understanding. There definitely was a language barrier.
