I was astounded to discover the extent to which scar tissue had built up in my muscle groups - everything from my calves (including deep muscles) to my lower back, and even connective tissue like my Iliotibial band. All of which was, of course, restricting motion and flexibility and causing further injury. It really hurts (a lot) when she gets in there and starts working on breaking up that scar tissue, but afterwards the feeling is incredible. I've actually started to regain hope that this is a huge step in being able to function as an athlete again. Highly recommend.
