I asked how her day was going, and she basically said she usually doesn't work Saturday's and so was not that keen on it but people want to use their insurance before the end of the year so she was kind of forced to do it. Okay. Then the massage started at 6 minutes late with static holds. Basically she was manually stretching me. It was mildly relaxing but given her first comment it seemed like she was preserving energy. A couple times during the massage she stopped entirely. (I think she was taking bites out of a wrap?). The massage wrapped up on the hour, so I paid for 60 minutes, got 54 of pack-lustre massage. Sorry. Can't recommend this place. Also the bathroom was dingy. There were no paper towels to dry my hands. She told me to use Kleenex, that's what it was there for.

Booking with her is great and she always finds times to schedule me in. She also does directbilling ( I am with Great West Life). There is a reason why I have followed her as she is great and very kind. Her room is clean and ambiance is calm and relaxed. She also has essential oils. She really works on your troubled areas and uses the right amount of pressure during your session together. Nazilla is not a minuite counter and makes sure you are happy when you go see her. There is free parking in the side of the building and also transit assessible as well. I really apreciate that she does really care about her clients and goes above and beyond for them. You will not be disapointed when you bookil an appointment with her.

Queen's Park Massage Therapy is your friendly neighbourhood massage mecca. Each one has a strength, so if you're new, tell them what you're looking for and there will undoubtedly be someone there who specialises in just that. All the staff are Registered Massage Therapists. If you aren't able to speak to a person on the phone, just leave a message -- they will get back to you promptly. The office is simply decorated, but very comfy and calming and very neat. Whether you're trying to recover from a new (or old) injury, or just want to relax, I highly recommend Queen's Park. As for the practicals... Queen's Park happily accepts both cash and debit, but not credit. Parking is generally not an issue, especially as there is plenty of 2-hour free parking on nearby side-streets, or metred parking directly in front. The 106 bus runs up and down 6th street, and stops at both the New Westminster and Edmonds stations at either end of the run. There is no play area, however, so leave the childrens at home. Also, I am not sure if there is an elevator in their building; they are on the second floor, which may be a concern for people with limited mobility.

Last year my back was so sore I couldn't walk. I called every single massage therapist in the area and either got a message or no answer. Because I was in so much pain I needed an appointment ASAP...which in New West is very difficult to find. I connected with Kristine and told her what was going on for me.. This woman OMG blew my mind. She was fully booked for the day but she kept giving me numbers of other massage therapists I could call to try and get an appointment... most of them I had already called...but some I had not and when I did got no answer or voice mail Knowing how much pain I was in and hearing the desperation in my voice... Kristine moved one of her appointments around to fit me in. Not only was her customer service mind blowing...her massage was amazing... Now she is not an RMT but still so worth checking out...

She's extremely knowledgable and experienced, even with special cases, like my wife, who has a spinal cord injury and required a different treatment than your average massage patient in order to feel relief from pain and stress. Gayle has a very pleasant, easy-going personality and is a pleasure to get to know. She's also great with kids, in case you have little monsters running around like we do.
