My girlfriend and I are both patients of Roberta. She is not only a great acupuncturist, she is a wonderful person with lots of positive energy! Recently, after my girlfriend sustained a major injury during a fall, Roberta made several house calls to help alleviate the severe discomfort caused by the injury. Her caring and concern are very real, and far, far above anything you will likely ever get from others. Personally, a physician had prescribed a medication which was not only harmful to me (sometimes the treatment is worse then the disease...) but also very expensive. Roberta researched the underlying cause of the need for the medication, and helped me with solving that cause through a supplement, rather then having to take the medication which was acting more like a band-aid. I recently moved away from San Diego, but I was a patient of Roberta's for about 2 1/2 years. She is without a doubt the best acupuncturist I have found. I've been treated by Roberta for a couple of years now. Originally went to her for a painful thumb joint injury that was interfering with work. After a couple of months, thumb joint was pain free. Mission accomplished. I've continued on with treatments every 2 weeks since then to help with menopausal symptoms, sleep and stress. Roberta is awesome! I see her biweekly for insomnia, anxiety and gastrointestinal issues. I have struggled with these issues for 12 years! When my previous acupuncturist left the state, I was devastated and spent 9 months 'undoing' all of the progress I had made over the previous year with her. I had to go back on pharmaceuticals for my conditions (Ativan and Ambien). Since beginning treatment with Roberta 4 months ago, I have been able to quit taking pharmaceuticals all together.
