I have visited here for over a year, however they totally destroyed the morning of one of my best mates wedding. I booked myself and friend in about 1 month ago for hair curled and up when the groom spent time with his best man and friend before us ladies arrived with the champagne before heading off. On arrival I was shouted at for being late for one appointment which were booked in my me, and confirmed a week ago at 9:30 and 10 am, and we got there at 9:20? They agreed to fit us in??? Only for me to have my hair curled 3 times without any products " frizz" not to be shown the back ( as it was so bad I realised) and then the girl to have a minor breakdown doing my friends and someone else having to leave her customer to finish it as the first girl couldn't! The girl who tried was lovely, and really did try to give her her due, however she could not curl or put up hair up, so why we're we booked with her? Not even they could answer or take responsibility for this, and blamed someone who was not there. I had to go home to wash my hair as it looked so bad, not have the mini party before wedding, and go with straight loose hair :-( and re-do my make up twice as I ended up in floods of tears after realising I hadn't had my hair done and the terrible experience in the hairdressers, and again that two of my best mates were let down, one with a non relaxing experience in the hairdressers, and the poor groom!!!. I'd advise going else where if you want what you book and ask for well in advance. Very disappointing, and unfortunatley will not be retuning or recomending. A total let down. They did offer a refund for my friends hair, however her's ended up wearable, and I did not pay for mine, however I did not want money, I wanted my hair done to go to a wedding, and an lovely morning, I had neither :-(. read more

So sad to see a negative review about Headrush.I and all of my family have been regular customers at Headrush for four years. I myself have been late for my appointments stressed to my max getting to the shop with road rage to find a great bunch of hairdressers waiting to do their best to fit me in.There is always a warm welcome great banter and a nice cuppa,and have always been treated with respect and kindness always left the shop with exactly the style colour I asked for as have all our family.We have a disabled child who is now becoming a teenager not only do the girls in the shop go out of their way to accommodate her physical needs the most important thing is her self esteem.I know when my child looks in that mirror she feels real good.So one little negative and unfortunate blip in the shop would never put me off having our hair done in Headrush a place that makes you feel good great staff good crack and time out for us busy mums .So chin up girls I wish others could see the smile you put on my child's face making her feel good and staff who are professional and don't see disability just a teenager.Sad to see such a fuss I'm sure being on your feet all day listening to the moans and groans of the public can't be easy and trying to please everyone will never be easy and I'm sure you all would have been pulling together as a team to resolve issues with the public KEEP up the great work girls happy holidays . read more
