Been going here almost 2 years. Great cuts, worth the money. The guys are funny. Usually whoever sees you come in, they greet you even if they are not your barber. Great group of guys loving what they do. Free water or beer while you wait or cut your hair. read more

$40 dollars is crazy, and he gave me a terrible "mid fade". quotations marks because I asked for a mid fade and it came out terrible. I had to double check after wards what a mid fade actually looked like on google to make sure that I asked for what I wanted and got something terrible compared to the pictures on google. I also don't like how he shaved so much in the back. anyways only come here if you're crazy enough to spend 40 dollars on a darn haircut read more

Absolutely the worst service ever!! Don't get me wrong the haircut was okay besides the fact it took the guy an hour to do a simple buzz cut, and he overbooked me and my son so proceeded to say he wasent going to have time to cut my sons hair because of his 12 pm appointment... he spent 5 minutes cutting my sons hair to leave it looking horrible!! And top it all off somehow the guys in the shop thought it was professional to be taking shots while cutting peoples hair!!! Never going there again!!! read more

The quality of the barbers here is sublime. The ambience and environment inside are friendly and straight up fantastic. Marco was able to fit me into his tight schedule the same day that I called, once I arrived he quickly got me in the chair and was a great conversationalist. More than anything, the haircut was exceptional. He nailed the beard lineup too. Definitely recommend. read more

Got my first real haircut here today since its been about five years since I've been to a real barber. Didn't get the name of the barber but from what I gathered he was the owners brother. Overall I'm impressed got a sharp looking fade, the barber was friendly, nice atmosphere, took his time did a through job, paid more than I wanted or anticipated but was worth it. I was impressed and satisfied in the end. Wish I had got the barbers name so I could make an appointment since I'm sure I'd be give him a repeat visit for a future cut. read more

Nobody answers phones so you can make an appointment. They only accept walk ins on certain days. So if you wanted to walk in on a Saturdays Sundays or Mondays then forget about it. They aren't even open on Monday. Barber told me to come back on Tuesday but I work during the week. They also expect you to make an appointment but on the business card it says $20 for an appointment and $15 for a walk in. Wouldn't recommend to even my worst enemy. read more

Great atmosphere and the whole team are great barbers. Whoever you go too, they'll leave you looking fresh

I've been getting my haircut by these guys back before the shop opened when most of them worked at Luis' shop down the street. Every time I come back home I get my hair cut here. They're the best in town. However, half the guys here are unprofessional. I've been to many shops in many cities throughout LA, Miami, and other random cities and never do I have the issues I have when I come back to Merced (not limited to just this shop, I've had the same issue at The Shop across the street). The wait is long (not really an issue since there are only two shops in town with good barbers so of course they're busy), but it doesn't help how unorganized they are. No other shop I've been to outside of Merced doesn't have a sign in sheet or something to make sure people are worked on in order. I don't know how many times I've come in and got skipped by people who didn't have appointments, but got a cut first cuz they knew the barber. (Honestly, though, I've had worse experiences at The Shop and I like a couple barbers here more so I always kept coming back when I lived here). Then tonight, I come in, sit down for ten minutes waiting, then get approached by the barber saying he wasn't taking anyone else. Really? It took you that long to decide you weren't open anymore? Sounds more like you decided not to serve me after thinking about it so that you could leave early. I wouldn't have been mad at all if he told me that as soon as I walked in, but he didn't. Then, I go get in my car across the street when I see another customer walk in, barber walks out and looks up and down the street (presumably to make sure I was gone and wouldn't see him letting someone else in), then let the other guy in. Dumb as hell. Luckily I live in Miami so I don't have to worry about this crap anymore, but still...I've always supported this shop and tip the barbers, but it's hard to support specific people who work there when they disrespect their customers. read more
