First appointment I went in for Athena. She didn't take the time to listen to what I wanted and she finished the hair cut in 10 minutes without giving me a mirror to see the back. When I got home and looked in the mirror I immediately called to ask for a redo. Next day I had my appointment with Olivia and it went much better. This is an amazing hair studio. Every single employee is professional, kind, and genuine. The owner herself is amazing and made me feel worthy of being there. The salon is a welcoming and has amazing decor curated by the owner herself. They also have a section for local artists to sell their creations. If you need a new look - or your eyebrows waxed this is the place to go. Bri understood the assignment and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I've had the BEST "hair experiences" at Headlines with Olivia! This girl is amazing! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and valued. There are times when I need to bring my son, who is 6. Everyone there made him feel like a king! They offered him drinks and popcorn, and checked on him as much as they checked on me. They even called him "Mr. Gallegos." He loved it!! Olivia asked questions about what I want to see in my hair. I felt like my opinion mattered, and I felt that I was being heard. You're probably thinking that such stellar service would come at a steep price, right? Nope! Their pricing is competitive and reasonable. I will go back as long as they'll have me. I was in town last summer on a trip and had a major color mess-up going on! I got in last minute and took a chance in a salon 15 hours from home.... crazy I know! Especially for color correction!!! The stylist NAILED my color (without knowing what my natural one was b/c 24 hours prior it had been STRIPPED from root to end 100%) and gave me the cut of a lifetime!!! I went from feeling ratchet to fabulous in about 2 hours!!! Can't remember her name. She said all the stylists there do "wispy" cuts. Not sure what that language means, but every customer there looked gorgeous and I'll never forget how she saved my head of hair!!! Thanks!! read more

Tish is absolutely incredible!!! I have long, thick hair and it scares so many stylists even for a simple trim. She is a damn badass and rocked it!!! I have to bounce around and just hope the trim doesn't botch my hair and from now on I will only trust her with my hair. I can't wait to go back!!! read more

Beautiful salon, hip and trendy, with a lot of style. Excellent customer service, as Tom insures that his clients are satisfied. Getting a new stylist can be nerve racking, but with they way they run things, the only way you would end up unhappy, is if you didn't communicate. Best customer service I have seen in a while, the clients' happiness is their number one goal. So in an area where you worry something could possibly go wrong, with that kind of customer service, it is a guarantee it wont. Impressed in Pueblo. read more

Made a 3:30 appointment with Swift. Arrived at 3:29, checked in, & watched Swift cut someone else's hair for 40 minutes. Obviously, I then left. I'm baffled. Just took off work & wasted 2 hours of my life. read more

First off, parking is a nightmare. It's a strange location with the absolute worst parking. It's actually kind of dangerous to get into the parking lot no matter what direction you're coming from and it's just as dangerous leaving thanks to the somewhat blind curve it's on. I've been here three times now. The first time I got a hair cut and perm. The cut was pretty lame, and the perm really didn't do anything except damage my hair. It was such an extremely long process. I really didn't want to go through it again or damage my hair anymore. (I cared for it as instructed, and truth be told, it wasn't curly from the get go... and I really feel like she knew it wasn't a successful perm job, too and just let me leave thinking it might look different later.) I really didn't want to be that person demanding money back and I know it's a fault on my part, but I would also just feel too vulnerable letting someone have a second whack at my hair after complaining about their work. The next time I went, I saw a different girl, and all she did was cut my hair. She did a decent job, but was terribly unfriendly. She spoke very little and just seemed like she was in a crappy mood. The only reason I made another appointment to go back to her a second time was because she did a decent job and seemed like she understood what it was I wanted. I figured, maybe she's just having a bad day and next time will be better. This last appointment WAS better in the sense that I feel like I got a really nice haircut. But the whole interaction her was very tense and strange. She was either having another bad day or is just a cranky person. She barely spoke at all, again, and just gave off bad vibes the whole time. I really don't like paying someone to make me uncomfortable for an hour. It's hard to find someone who can cut your hair the way you want it cut, but I also really hate going to a place and being treated like I'm not cool enough to be there or I'm not worth the time to be nice to. None of the other people that work there are especially friendly or welcoming either. read more

I made an appointment to get my hair done for my 45th high school reunion. The works. Cut, color and style. They took 20 years off me! I gave Tom free reign to do what he thought was best and he worked miracles. I felt great! They treated me well and it was all reasonably priced. What's with the reviews of the parking? You were there to get your hair done weren't you? Next time I go out to eat I think I'll review the Laundry service next door. read more

I'm editing my one star review by deleting the whole thing to say that I got a horrible cut at this salon from a stylist named Priscilla and no apology from the reception staff when I called to complain. My last review was very long and detailed but I have decided to delete it due to the fact that the owner called me today to apologize. He was very sorry and offered me free services along with a refund. I very much appreciate this and have a lot of respect for the business owner trying to make it right. I'm sorry for him that one of his stylists is crappy and I had to give this review. Maybe I will give them a second chance in the future and hopefully be able to give five stars. read more

I admit I haven't been to Headlines since I moved away from Colorado; but I've thought more than a few times of flying back to CO just to get my hair done by Tiniesha! After spending my days working and taking care of kids I felt frumpy, but I always felt great knowing I could go to Headlines and have them turn me into a hottie patottie! I have hard to work with mousy brown hair that I normally wear blonde with lowlights- the staff at Headlines are amazing with color & highlights and have even fixed some of my own home color disasters! The services at the salon are always great, the prices are well worth it for the quality and the staff is just the best. The stylists are really knowledgeable and talented! I am always nervous when it comes to changes to my hair, but the staff there are really trustworthy. Best of all, I always left the salon feeling like I got just what I wanted and my hair always looked amazing! read more

My husband and I just relocated in Pueblo from Asheville where I had an excellent hair stylist for over 8yrs so I was hesitant to try someone new. Leanne colored my hair and styled it and did everything that I asked for including some of her expertise and suggestions which I took. I went home to my husband saying it was one of the best cuts and colors he has seen me get. My hair is curly and hard to manage normally but Leanne put her expert hands on it and I am so pleased! I will definitely be keeping her as my new hair dresser! read more

Very trendy hair salon with pretty good vibes. The prices are a little high but worth it for the quality cut you get. Only complaints are parking and the constant waiting. There isn't even really a parking lot just some dirt with an asphalt area, makes no sense. The last five or six times I've came here I've been on time and had to wait an unacceptable amount of time. 15-40 minutes every time, they over book because not once has my stylist, Tisha, gotten me in the chair on time. Even though she cuts my hair good, I'm wondering if waiting this long every time is worth the high prices. It's become very clear that this Headlines is no longer the best of Pueblo. read more

I had an awesome experience at Headlines Salon. I had been looking for a place where I can get highlights. The stylist was wonderful, gentle with my scalp and now i have a beautiful hair. She also fixed the nightmare of a haircut i recently got. I wish i remembered her name though i will be coming back for sure!
