I have long searched for a reputable barber that provides consistent haircuts, is knowledgeable…read moreabout hair styles and types, and has an eye for detail. Having been on this search post-pandemic, I stumbled upon the Groomsmith. Specifically, I scheduled a haircut with Dylan, and since then, I will never go anywhere else. The Groomsmith is conveniently located just on the outskirts of downtown in a small-er shop. The venue is kept modern and fresh with white walls and blueish accents. There are 8/10 spots for barbers and one bar where they serve beer and coffee for patrons. Each "barber booth" is equipped with everything, including hairdryers, air pumps, etc. It's clear that each barber has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work at the Groomsmith. When I first met Dylan, we discussed my typical haircut and he took the time to figure out how my hair naturally grows and how to best cut it. From there, Dylan balances his time between focusing on cutting hair and creating conversation, easily making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Since going to Dylan, I haven't gone to anyone else. He truly values his work and gets to know his clients and their wants. I have nothing but great things to say about the Groomsmith. If you are looking for a high end barbershop, I suggest you give it

After the next barber finishes up with client she cleaned her stall and asked if either of us was Ken. Neither was, so she asked whom we had appt with. I stated I was a walk in and she proceeded to tell me no walk ins after sitting for 20 minutes. I stayed it would have been nice to know that earlier and was told there was a sign out front (news to me) and they can't repeat themselves all day. Sounds like a you problem if you need to continue to repeat yourself and you're signage is inadequate. Never again!

A different person tried to fix them, their hair obviously had to be cut a lot shorter than we had originally wanted, the fronts are still crooked....can't blame them that they couldn't fix the terrible job done by the first person. The guy who tried to fix the woman's mess up seemed like he could do a good job if he was doing the original cut. So I made my husband an appointment with him, specifically. My husband went and didn't even get to see him and the person he saw did a terrible job. He cut maybe a 1/4" off his hair and didn't shape his beard at all. My kids covid cuts I did myself were better than this place did. I highly don't recommend.
