Love the guys in the shop. They're conversation isn't inappropriate, nor inflammatory. Above all they do a good job. If you come in specifically for a clean shave they take the time to make sure it's clean and you won't get razor bumps; I'm talking hot towel straight razor, nice! Jacion is my regular he's great guy following his dreams and taking care of his family. read more

Brought my son who is 7 and a little bit nervous about getting his haircut. I mention that to the barber and he straight up told me "you're better off going somewhere else. I don't do kids who don't like to get their haircut. Don't waste my time or yours. " While I appreciate the honesty it definitely left me and my son with a less than stellar feeling. It's clear why the place was empty when we walked in. read more

Headliners is THE barber shop to go to. I have consistently gotten my haircut here for months and Jio never disappoints. It only took about 2 visit for Jio to know exactly how I like my cut and he has it memorized every time I come in. Whether it's at work or school, I've received multiple compliments about my haircut. So much so that I've recommended this place to numerous classmates who are now regular clients of Jio. Long story short, if you're in need of a haircut ASK FOR JIO! read more

This is a review for Christian, one of The Barbers there that show me such Hospitality in my first time. I'm a student at Touro University which is very close to Headliners Barbershop. I was looking for a quick place to get a line up and came across this place on Yelp. I saw how close it was to my campus and decided to check it out. From the moment I walked in, it was great hospitality, great company. They were so welcoming and so understanding and then you have allow me up really well. My lineup was $15 and I tip them in an additional $5 so a total of $20. I like the hospitality and the company of the barbershop so much that I brought two additional classmates with me. One of them was from New York and was asking me where he can get a haircut from people who knew how to cut black people hair, I was like you know what I do know a spot, and I took him to Headliners. My other friend who usually gets his haircuts in Richmond also came with me. We are all students at Touro and this is a very convenient place for anyone who lives in the area, by the area, or needs a real quick haircut. If anyone has any questions or concerns about this place please feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to answer anything that comes my way. read more

Great barbershop. Fun and family friendly. Julius cuts my hair and does a damn good job at it. I've never had a bad experience here. Julius being a Filipino barber cut my hair better than any Otha BROTHA. Dude can cut Donald trumps hair and have him lookin right. Jon & Christian are very good barbers as well. Everybody's hella funny in the shop. Always a good time. My sister is very comfortable bringing her kids in here which is rare for a barber shop. The mix of people make this shop great too. Not one type of any person. Just an FYI Christian over on springs road works very well with small children. So send them over his way. He's something like "the kid whisperer" tell him zac sent ya. read more

Real nice place, the ambiance is great! The barbers are super friendly and cool. Give this place a try and you won't ever go back to your old barbershop. 10/10 read more

Headliners Barbershop gives me the best haircuts. No other barbers compare. When I try other places, they never get my haircut exactly right, but Headliners does. Gio is the only one currently working here, but he is THE BEST. If you want a haircut that is done well, GO ASK FOR GIO. Every time I visit he cuts my hair the way I like it, and I never fail to get compliments from people. If you are looking for a new barber and are unsure which barbershop to try, give this one a shot. read more

My brother was starting to look like grizzly Adams and in desperate need of a beard trim so on a whim we decided to stop in and try Headliners Barbershop. Great group of barbers, all extremely helpful and professional. read more

Best barbershop in town. Julius is like a modern day Picasso with clippers. Don't believe me? Give them a try... it might just change your life. read more

Julius is the man! I've been coming to both shops (the other on Springs Rd.) for a couple of years now and I always come out very satisfied. Nice, clean atmosphere and all the barbers are friendly and make you feel at home. Unlike some barbershops, this place is kid friendly and I see parents dropping off their kids all the time. I come here every week or so and will continue to. read more

Needed a haircut badly and the hours on yelp posted this place was open till 7pm. I walked all the way to the place to find the doors were locked at around 3:30pm but the open signs were still displayed in the window. Wtf, not good for business read more

Allane was very good and precise I said if you mess up my hair especially my lining. Then I consider it a bad cut and he did good still left a little to much on top. But I've seen worst but he did good on my lining compared to his old classmate. He also took care of my facial all for a damn good price. It was exactly to c what pay back home IL/IN and I tipped him even bad barbers I tip. But Allane was far from bad I'm very happy and can't wait to show It off to my coworkers. I got compliments when I cut my own hair. Very solid barbers here now I gotta drive 40 mikes back home so worth the trip. read more

I was looking a great local barber and came across the yelp page for this business. I was driving to a Sacramento barber for a while. I called and asked for Lamar and he gave me an appt for the next day. Great conversation and professional atmosphere. While in the chair, I watched Julius cut a walk in and he did an excellent job on the customer. Lamar was thorough and precise. In summary, I loved my haircut and will be back. read more

Went in on a rainy saturday morning, got seated in 10 min. Angelo was my barber and hooked me up with a low fade with comb over. 100% happy when finished especially since i came in with shaggy hair and left clean cut. Would recommend Angelo for his skills and laid back attitude. read more

Go see my boy Angelo one of the best barber I've ever come across A1 since day 1. chill shop vibe as well

Headliners does not live up to the hype. This bold barber completely destroyed my hair to the point of no return. After he finished the bmx race track he left on my head, he had the audacity to ask me to pay. The ATM machine was down, I waited about an hour, and left with a bad hair cut. I will continue to get my haircut at pepper cuts in Oakland. read more

So I went to get my nephew hair cut and you know it's more then 2 and a half hours before closing as I'm getting the kids out the barber inside tells another customer to put the closed sign up and mind you the customer is laughing as he did this I found it disrespectful and unprofessional and I do not recommend this place at all next time at least have the balls to say it to us directly. read more

I had a bad experience as well. The owner, I believe, cut my hair and it was horrible. He was close-minded, racist, and did a half-assed rush job. Haven't went back since, and will not return. I recommend IV. They stay busy, but best cuts around. read more

Just had my cut with Rome - this guy is the man. I came in, told him the style I wanted, and he had it on point. I used to have to go SF, pay double, and get half the quality. Definitely the go to guy if you need something creative. read more

Went here for the first time today. Only had to wait for two heads in front of me in spite of the fact that it was Valentine's Day, the place was full, and there were only two barbers cutting. I read all the reviews and saw the number of high marks folks gave Julius, so I went in to see him. However, of the 6 guys in front of me, 4 of them were waiting on Juilius! I wound up getting a young barber named Lamar. Lamar is not only an outstanding barber that took the time to understand exactly what kind of cut I was looking for, and made sure to check in with me that he was on target, but also an intelligent young man that was able to engage in conversation that ranged from sports, to music, to travel, to kids. I left with a great new cut and a new barber. I'll definitely be back to see Lamar again. read more

Sydnie Biannca is my go to! When I need an idea or just say do something creative she's got it already made up in the back of her mind. She has been cutting my hair for about 6 years now. Now she cuts my daughters hair and my son is about ready to get a fresh fade. She even now cuts both my sisters hair. She can work with any type of hair and you will come out loving it!!! So moral of my review... Go to Sydnie! She is AMAZING! =] read more

I've been here twice as of the posting of this review. I have had my hair cut by two different barbers, and they have both done an amazing job. I will definitely keep coming back, they do the cut I request, and charge a fair price. It's got a relaxed atmosphere as well, which I dig! read more

I don't want to rant on this shop but one of the guys there cut my hair horribly!! The line up was uneven, the back was not done right, he butchered my hair. I was so angry how it looks. Please if you are the owner of the baber shop, reiterate your workers about costumer satisfactory because now you loose a costumer. read more

Great barbershop, highly recommend Angelo, he's been cutting my hair for over a year and I always leave feeling brand new. Very friendly environment and good service, wouldn't go else where read more

Julius is one of THE best barbers I've ever paid to cut my hair. I lived in NYC, around the Bay, Sacramento and San Diego. He's definitely "top shelf" material. Julius is always on point when I explain a new hairstyle and am attempting to change things up. All the barbers in the shop are extremely skilled and make you feel welcomed. Sometimes I sit around the barbershop AFTER my haircut just to chop it up. I even convinced my dad to roll through. Most definitely recommended. read more

I give them a two because the staff is nice. My son of 4 needed a hair cut and this place is great if you want a fade but don't ask for something other then a fade because they wouldn't know what your talking about. I try to explain to them that I'm trying to grow out his hair and what I got was uneven on the top and clean edges. Not a happy costumer. read more

I took my nephew to Headliners for his very first professional cut and I'm so glad I did. Headliners is a no fuss, no muss barbershop. Simple decor with a TV on the wall for customers to pass the time. I had called first thing in the morning to make an appointment but one wasn't necessary, they told me to just come on in. When we arrived, my little nephew started to get scared but then barber Angelo immediately put him at ease by offering him a lollipop. I showed Angelo a picture of the haircut we wanted and he replicated it perfectly. He was professional and very gracious and informative when I asked him questions. I really liked the fact that Angelo and the other barber who was there were very down to earth and welcoming. Barbershops to me fall into the same category as tattoo parlors...they can be intimidating if you aren't really knowledgeable about them but the staff at Headliners made us feel totally comfortable. My nephew's haircut came out awesome, his sideburns were as sharp as could be....I don't know technical terms but the lines on his forehead were very precise and neat. Most importantly my nephew loved it and he was beaming when we left. Thank you Headliners! We will be back. read more

Been going here since 2001 when we first moved to Vallejo but started at the Springs Road location. Chopped off mine and my Son's hair here then been coming back every other week since. Jules is my main barber and family really. Barbershop atmosphere to the fullest, with quality cuts. I go here for a simple cut and sometimes change it up but nothing else too spectacular like designs; maybe for my Son sometimes but rarely. If we ever move back to the City, I'd still come here for my biweekly cut. read more

Professional and courteous! Not to forget good work. Going into a male dominated barber shop is not always the most comfortable environment, especially for a woman. EVERYONE HERE IS SO NICE. I would recommend them highly and will return myself. Allane is awesome! So is the other staff. read more

I had to walk my barber through on how to do my haircut. Seriously, do they just let anybody cut here now a days?! My normal barber canceled on me today so I had to resort to this place and boy was it a mistake. I would've rather had to walk around with a damn mohawk or something tha the haircut my barbergave me. Didn't even try to style it. Didn't even know if they sold hair product. Asked for a 3 on the sides got like a 4 on one side and a 2 on the other. Never. Go. Here. Not gonna put people on blast here but it'd be better to just avoid the shop all around. read more

Sydnie Bianca is an awesome hair stylist and when i mean an awesome hair stylist i mean shes bad ass at cutting hair and also i heard her colors for women are on point, whatever school she went to for hair needs to be recognized !! I couldn't believe how well she did the first time on my hair after my old barber had left moving to Oakland and i needed someone good like him and who would of known a female would be cutting my hair at headliners barbershop in VALLEJO!
