A tradesman recommended I get fittings for a new bathroom from this small bathroom supplier, and first time round, 4 years ago, I was impressed. They were helpful with advice, and the fittings were good quality. You paid a bit more than ordering online, but because it was a good service, it seemed worth it. When I returned for a new toilet earlier this year, however, the service was poor. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and I ended up with a product that isn't really what I wanted. I'm sure there's still a market for shops like this in an online age, but they have to add value through excellent customer service. Just ordered two bathroom suites. They have a huge range they can order from, much less expensive than some of the places with bigger showrooms. Seem to really know their stuff and gave me really excellent advice plus hours of their time, showing me the differences between things on site. I also wanted to buy British, given the new exchange rate problems and they specialise in British stuff. Online and flashier places seemed more attractive at first, but in the end these were better price (by £800 per bathroom) and I could actually see and feel the quality from samples in the shop. I'm older and like to take my time, they were really helpful. Only thing I'd add is would be nice to have a bigger showroom, but that would obviously make the things they have more expensive. read more

Talk the talk but do not deliver. It was a shame wanted to give my money to a small business but the people involved made lots of promises but failed to deliver on every one. It may cost more going to another supplier but for a better service it will be worth it. read more
