BE Warned! DON'T believe their advertising. HCF Health Insurance deny so many claims. We have had private hospital and top extras cover for years and a few months ago we transferred to HCF. Boy I wish we hadn't! Have now discovered that in their very fine print there are many things they don't cover. There are several medicines prescribed by our doctor they just say "we don't cover" including skin cancer cream. When my husband developed a tooth ache he needed to return to our dentist for a referral and had to go to an Endodontist and now requires root canal surgery. HCF say we won't cover more than 2 examinations/ year. They'll only cover $767 of quoted $3168 fees even though we are paying for top extras cover. Amounts of refunds are pitiful. Will now return to Qantas Assure Health insurance who were much better. read more

I think this kind of event or program is very good idea for us to find out any kind of failure in health and we tend to be more aware of our health. The consultant gave me lots of advice regarding preventions is your best defence to reduce my blood pressure (or maintain a healthy blood pressure) to reduce my cholesterol (or maintain a healthy cholesterol) to reduce my blood sugar ( or maintain a healthy blood sugar) Due to my result was all good, so I can just maintain those above items. read more
