My experience with Saylor Physical Therapy has been extremely troubling, and I want others to be…read moreaware of what happened. The clinic collected $420 in copays from me for six visits that were denied by my health insurance because Saylor did not obtain the required preauthorization. BCBS explained that when a denial is caused by a provider's administrative error, the patient is not responsible for any charges or copays. My Explanation of Benefits statements confirm that I am responsible for $0 for these visits. Despite this, the clinic kept the money. I spoke with their office manager and explained the situation. She refused to refund the copays because she was adamant the clinic would be paid for those visits. I explained that even though BCBS refused to pay, they would still receive payment from Geico for those visits since it was a personal injury claim. She still refused to refund the copays but said they would be refunded if they received payment from insurance. Later, Saylor Physical Therapy accepted payment in full from Geico for all six denied visits and still did not return my money. They have ignored every voicemail and email I've sent since then. There was also a seventh visit where they took my $70 copay, received payment from BCBS, and then accepted another payment in full from Geico for the same date of service. According to the information I received, they told Geico the visit had not been paid, even though BCBS had already paid the claim months earlier. They kept all three payments. This does not feel like a simple oversight -- it reflects a pattern of billing behavior that no patient should have to deal with. In total, Saylor Physical Therapy owes me $490 that I believe should be refunded, and they have refused to communicate or correct the issue. I have been left with no choice but to turn to the NC Department of Insurance and the NC Attorney General for assistance. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone seeking honest or professional treatment.

Suddenly and without warning, multiple time's a week I would get dizzy, be unable to stand, and my eyes would involuntarily move side to side with a condition called nystagmus. For years I went to multiple specialists including ENT and neurologists without any success. Then I met Laura and my luck completely changed. I had an initial assessment where she reviewed my condition. She immediately could describe the underlying causes and the treatment. I had one treatment and I couldn't believe it but I was cured. My neck muscles released, I gained mobility and my symptoms were gone. It has been years and I have never had any symptoms of dizziness. I have continued to get treatments for other conditions/injuries I have sustained since I met her. I even signed up for online yoga with her. I was very challenging and she was able to describe the postures and make small adjustments to my practice. She is an amazing doctor. For anyone with any dizziness or whiplash injuries I would highly recommend her. I'm glad I met Laura. And you will be too!

Physical health is extremely important to me, so this may be my favorite discovery in Charlotte…read more Mark is a great physical therapist that runs a results oriented business, and that is exactly what you can expect with him. As someone who spends most of the day sitting at my desk, I developed an SI joint disfunction, which caused me back & leg pain and discomfort for over a year. This hindered my workouts and any other physical activity that I love doing. I tried to fix it myself, and then went to the Chiropractor with minimal results. Luckily someone recommended Mark to me, because after the first session with him there were instant and lasting resulting. Mark starts off with an initial physical assessment, where he identifies the source of your problem (not just the symptoms!). After identifying the issue(s), he utilizes various forms of therapy (depending on your needs) to fix the problem. (e.g. massage, trigger point therapy, joint manipulation, etc). Following your appointment(s), Mark will prescribe exercises to do at home that will continue to advance your rehab results. In terms of price, I found Mark to be more affordable than the Chiropractors I had recently seen. His sessions are comparable to the price of a massage. But truthfully, when it comes to your physical and mental health, you should never be a cheapskate, especially when you are getting great results. I routinely go to Mark for 'maintenance' on my body, because just like a car, your body needs work from time to time, especially if you taxing it constantly. Bottom line: If you want results, this is the place to go. No one should be suffering from chronic pain and discomfort (especially if you're young!).

I highly recommend him and tell all my endurance friends that are struggling with injuries to contact Mark and try his therapy in order to get back to 100%.
