I LOVE working at coffee shops and having humans to talk to (as opposed to just my pups) but I hate the hustle and bustle of coffee shops and larger coworking spaces... The Mill Coworking is right up my alley; it's GORGEOUS, quiet but not TOO quiet, the other members are just as pumped as I am to be running their businesses andddd there's a great balance between socializing and working! Lawd, that was quite the run on sentence * Other killer selling points: LOCATION - right in the heart of SouthEnd walking distance of Publix, they have a pour over coffee pot, so much natural light, beautiful windows, tons of plants, AND did I mention coffee?! Take a peek at their page to see more, dm them if you have any questions. But seriously, do it now! Recently got the bananza seasonal special that has a banana cold foam but really didn't taste much at all. It's a very subtle banana flavor. I had written a review, a five star one, which I have since deleted because you don't get a free drop or $3 off unless you mention your baristas name. They don't wear name tags so you literally have to ask the person behind the bar who is making your drink and that's just weird. Great way to promote reviews but maybe get name tags? Also, the girl who was helping me seems to not know how customer service works and looks like she's never smiled in her life. Not the greatest interaction and may have to find another coffee shop in the future because the coffee really isn't that worth it for all that.

I can't express how much I enjoyed working out of this location. First, the staff was amazing. The receptionist was always incredibly friendly and helpful, and could answer any questions I had about the office. Kim, the owner, made sure that I had all of the accommodations I needed, and make sure that all of my needs were taken care of quickly. As for the office itself, it was well-furnished, and was a welcoming environment. Even with it being temporary, I felt right at home. It was very quiet, so I could get all of my work done without any distractions. There was a great conference room in the event I needed to hold a larger meeting. Having a kitchen in the office helped out immensely, because I didn't have to worry about eating out every day. That being said, being right above Birkdale Village was great if I wanted to step out for lunch, or if I needed to set up a lunch meeting with a client or coworkers. . If you are looking for a place, even if it's just temporary like my situation was, Birkdale Office is your best bet. My rating starts all the way from the beginning when I found the Hygge website easy to navigate and was excited to see they offered day passes and weren't just membership based. I purchased a day pass for myself and my coworker (more on that later) and had instant email communication from the community manager, Bryan Archilla. He was able to help me transfer the pass to my coworker's email since the door key is activated by your phone and needs to be activated by two phones. Bryan's communication was prompt and he even greeted me upon arrival and gave me a tour. I used the regular unassigned desk area and found the vibe to be perfect. A nice mix of quiet and conversational. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and found the entire area (bathrooms, work space, kitchen) clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back! Thanks, Bryan, for your awesome customer service! Edit: Oops! I just realized this review was left on the wrong location, but I'm not seeing the Wesley Heights one... The parking was fine but maybe needed some clarity as there was a restaurant and post office adjacent to the lot. It's a gravel lot basically with no clear signage. Not a big issue but FYI. She helped me get set up on the app (still a work in progress) and gave me a quick tour. The big main spaces were already reserved but the phone booth space was adequate to my needs. The internet speed was decent but there was no ethernet cable for direct connection. The common kitchen area was clean and beverages were available as well as small snacks. Terry, the director for the space, was very helpful in troubleshooting issues with billing and reservations. Pricing was also reasonable for a one-day pass. Military veteran pricing is available.
