We've had several heating technicians come and look at fixing our old business furnace and their…read moreonly response was that it had to be replaced. Called AEM Mechanical, Dennis came over, looked at it, got part ordered then came back, cleaned one thing, replaced bad part with new part all for a nominal fee. Furnace has run great ever since. Soon after that, house furnace went out and this one definitely need to be replaced. New furnace was in within 4 days, electrician came next day so house has heat also. All this was done before cold spell this new year. Thanks guys for awesome service. Would definitely recommend these guys.

I called these guys when my water heater went south. The tech that they sent lied and said that my…read morecontroller was bad. He said that he would call me as soon as he returned to his headquarters and let me know if he could order a new controller. Another lie... That call never came. So I called... and called... for 2 days. No answer... nothing. I called a competitor and they immediately were there for me. Knowing how life sucks without hot water. Turns out the water heater needed a new thermocouple not a $300 controller. Though it was recommended to be replaced due to age. A&E apparently was trying to swindle me. A&E eventually called over a week later. How is that for service? The kicker was the $156 bill for nothing but a lie. Use great caution when using this outfit. I called them today and asked them about the bill and their rude service manager told me that they didn't answer because there was something wrong with my phone (phone records say otherwise). His tech spent more time using my bathroom than he spent helping me and they charged me for his bowl movement. This outfit is very suspect. Use great caution when dealing with them and if you have an emergency I would highly suggest calling someone else that actually cares about their customers.

My parents used Rick plumbing for years and now I'm doing the same. The service, professionalism…read moreand responsivenesses are far beyond expectation. They provided and installed all plumbing and heating products in my new home and the experience has been flawless. I know they will stand behind their products and work well into the future. We had Rick himself and another man replace our bathroom floor and toilet due to a long leak in the…read moretoilet ruining half the floor. They did a VERY poor job with the flooring. The linoleum has screws poking up all over from the wood they put down underneath - at least 12, and it's a small bathroom. There are also cracks where they didn't butt the underlying flooring up to the next piece well enough. There is a place where they didn't measure the linoleum well and had to splice a small piece in, which looks bad, and the caulking they used the stick the molding back on the wall is very sloppy. I asked for a partial refund, to offset the cost of having someone redo it, and he refused, saying he we would redo it free of charge. I declined, not believing he was capable of a professional job. He also claimed he WOULD refund the $60 I paid him to snake our tub, since he didn't remember to do it any of the three times he came out, but three weeks later he has not refunded it. I would NOT recommend him for any remodeling work, although he claims on his website and craigslist ads that he can - that his company has MILLIONS of satisfied customers. The reasons I am giving him two stars is that he did replace the toilet and the leak is fixed.

I'm furious, terrible customer service. Our ACs were acting up. We had a technician come and the…read moredecision we made was we needed both replaced. The tech said someone needed to come out to measure our house to decide what to install. I told the tech they had measured our house the previous fall so they had the info they needed. When he left, our understanding was they were going to start the process - unless we got a call. Two days went by and we called them because we hadn't heard anything. They said they called us and neither of us had a message or a missed call. We had two extra days of heat because they dropped the ball. We understand, it's summer and we were facing the 4th of July, so we didn't expect an immediate fix. I wrote this in a review to the company and never heard anything in response to my complaints. We ended up going to their competitors getting a significantly lower quote and a quicker install. I have used this company in the past, but will never use them again.
