In fact you'll do better if you don't because if you do, you'll wonder how you are getting out of there alive. The grill probably hasn't been cleaned since it's been open, but lemme tell you that seasoning on this greasy spoon burger is what makes that magic happen. I drive 25 minutes to get here regularly when I am staying in the area and wish it was closer to where I live (Richmond) however I'm grateful that it isn't because I would be a candidate for my 600 lb life on tlc if it were. It's truly AMAZING.

I grabbed 2 bottles of buffalo trace and she shouted at me that I could only get one. I immediately said "sorry, I didn't realize" and went and put the bottle back up without hesitation. She continued to shout at me that there was a sign (there wasn't any clear signage of this, it was on extremely small text on the tag next to the sku!). I said there wasn't and she pointed to the small text, to which I said "nobody is reading that" and continued to purchase my bottle with the other (much nicer) employee at the cashier. I ended up getting my second bottle anyways when my partner purchased it, ya know - since it's one per person :)

I assume this is Wythe Produce & Deli, and if it is I am a fan!…read more A few years ago while here I went to lunch at a hole in the wall, and went to eat there again with my fellow instructor. Two years ago when I ate there, people from the health department were eating there as well, always a good sign. The Wythe Produce & Deli is a great small country store immediately off I-81 on Route 52. The food is still amazing. Both of us were not disappointed. I had a typical southern lunch, chicken dumplings and green beans. Don my fellow instructor had a great roast beef sandwich. Inexpensive and absolutely above average (or really good). Please note that the Yelp directions are wrong, it is off the interstate driving away from town, on the top of the first hill.

Plus, they are so kind and generous there. I frequently stop by on my way to work of the morning and get a couple of breakfast burritos. They also have delicious biscuits and breakfast sandwiches. My favorite lunch/dinner meal is their shrimp stir fry. Sooo yummy and perfectly prepared. They serve Mexican dishes and American dishes. As I've said, everything I have tried is delicious. I'd love to see them open a full service restaurant close by!!!
