Beautiful facility but dangerous. The back patio is not up to code and we had several guests at my daughter's wedding fall off of the poorly marked step. Stairs to the stage are vey dangerous. The air conditioner to the get ready room broke during the wedding and flooded the hallway. We had to use all of our bathroom paper towels to attempt to dry up the dangerous mess. We called management several times and they were of no assistance. The bride and he wedding party literally had to drag their dresses though the mess. The field was dirty and full of broken glass and garbage the day of the ceremony. All of these concerns and more were brought up to the owners/managers without an appropriate response or concern. Don't book your special event here until the owners learn how to run a proper event. read more

History

Established in 2019.

We had decided our property was perfectly located to build an event barn - and then our daughter announced her engagement! So we got busy and built the barn just in time for her wedding, one year later. While completely covered in tasteful rustic finishes, the barn “shell” is insulated concrete forms, so it stays warm in winter and cooler in summer. And a fun bonus - the sound quality inside is amazing. DJ’s always tell us they love it! No distortion of music or reverberating announcements. Photographers appreciate that every corner, wall and ceiling is a lovely backdrop for photos from any angle. We also have several location options for your outdoor ceremony, a mister system along the patio for those hot days, two bars, all the tables and linens you need…the list goes on! Meet the Business Owner: Tracy R.

Tracy grew up just down the road, part of a large extended family who happened to be in the construction business. She and her husband Gary have lived in the property since 1998 and raised their children here. Building Hawks Run Estate barn seemed a natural extension, since family gatherings were always large! She loves DIY-ing, and also manages two businesses and works part time in accounting.
