We each got something different so we could try a variety - scrambled eggs for mom, baked eggs with goat cheese and mushrooms, and Toulouse sausage. Omg delicious! The sausage was so flavorful, the potato was a mess of cheese and butter and incredibly amazingly good, the poached eggs were perfect, and the tomatoes were super flavorful. Maybe anywhere. We came back again for dinner and it held up to the same standards as the first. Very quaint place. It is at a busy intersection so the people watching is at a premium. My wife loves creme brûlée and highly recommends theirs. Prices are about average for Paris and the portion sizes are what you would normally get anywhere around Paris. On another day, we bought prepared foods to take back to our rental. Again, the vendor was incredibly helpful. This market gave me an opportunity to practice my French, something that can be difficult to do in Paris. Of note, I was the only one in my party who spoke French, and the others managed just fine. We visited several times during our week stay in the 18th arrondissement.

The Team recognized my limitation after my greeting of "bonjour" ad walked me through in English how to order and what was available to order. I was thankful and glad I choose what I did. DECOR: The restaurant is exactly what you envision a quaint Parisian cafe to be if you're an American. I appreciated the local feel it felt as if I walked into a local jewel and was able to still be part of it even though I don't speak the local language. The water and silverware are placed in the middle of the restaurant so you can help yourself as you need to. The dirty dishes are something you bus yourself as well.
