The Ohana is impeccably located far enough away from the resorts to feel you're living a local experience, but close enough to appreciate the restaurants and markets. The coastline is minutes away, and the ocean vistas are absolutely incredible. Communication with the hosts is thorough, clear, and warm. The Ohana itself is immaculate and truly has everything you might need during your stay (it is very thoughtfully curated)...and if you need something that isn't here, the hosts will find it for you or direct you appropriately. The pool is amazing. The birds chirping is heavenly. The patio is great for working, writing, breakfast, and dinner. The host recommendations are spot-on...and they have even more if you ask them. The animals on the property are sweet and charming. And the hosts? Some of the most genuinely kind and caring people we have ever met, we couldn't possibly list all of the things they did to make our stay over-the-top perfect. The only thing we regretted about staying was having to leave. This place is truly a treasure -- part of an experience that made us fall in love with Hawaii. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the Big Island. It is truly paradise.

It not only is decorated beautifully, it is well taken care of and has everything you could need. We are a tall couple (both over 6') appreciated the high shower head so we are not doing a backbend to rinse out our hair and water pressure is A+. Even though there is no air conditioning keeping doors open and the fans going it was comfortable. We had an issue with the tv, it just quit working. I messaged with Dani and we tried a few things that didn't work. And the next day while we were out they replaced the tv. What great service! We felt the price was very fair for the quality and ocean views. Would definitely stay here again.

I found my condo immaculate, freshly cleaned carpets and all the amenities in place. No repairs were needed, so I spent my time enjoying the perfect weather in Hawaii. They blamed damage on us that was there from previous tenants, and I have pictures and emails to prove it that they repeatedly ignore. The owner of the house CHERYL is putting it up for sale and wants the money to fix her unlivable house full of termites that they would not do anything about. This company is just helping her keep what is ours. During our walk through it was even discussed how a door was damaged when we moved in and they charged us $463 for a closet door!!! I have pictures showing a bathroom drawer when we moved in with used floss, roaches, and hair. Termite poop on our bathroom counter, black mold in the washing machine I tried to scrub. Broken kitchen tile when we moved in. We left the house cleaner than We received it. Lived with a house full of termites that they would not deal with. Boundless said one thing at my walk through and then charged for things never mentioned and damage from before we moved in.

I had to email them to find out why & was told that the property was supposed to have been blocked out over the period we reserved it. That's fine, I understand the legit mistake. What I am bothered by is they never apologized & never made an effort to help us find another property. And here is the big kicker, our credit card was charged for it after they canceled & we have not been refunded yet & it has been a week & a half! Again emailed them & were told that we need to contact Hopper, apparently who they do their charging through. There is no way to contact anyone @ Hopper. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a very long time.

Such caring people and such an amazing property. I had asked to cancel my VRBO the day after I found out my Brother in law's funeral service was the day we were supposed to check in. I had to have VRBO contact the host so I get a response from their initial email to accommodate me in another property. Lit took them more than 30 days (after my stay at another property) to refund me the initial payment sans VRBO fee and insurance fee. Multiple texts, phone calls, and VRBO messages- it shouldn't be this hard to contact a host. They added stress to us who just lost a loved one.
