He was extremely responsive and answered all my questions over the phone before the first lesson. He is very patient, always came on time and had a face mask on for every lesson. After each lesson, he would message me on my teens progress. Jay was very easy to work with and I felt he and I were able to work together to achieve our goals. It was also very easy and convenient to pay for our lessons via payment app. Our teen passed on the first try!!!

Since I was desperate to get a drivers license ASAP since I needed a 2nd form of govt issued ID for passport renewal so I was referred to to Jay and only spent 1 (90min) session with him to give me tips on how to pass and took me to the exact route where I was testing in Sheridan (2021) and passed ! I actually learned a lot from him despite being a licensed driver since I was 16yo (took HI drivers test at age 49) My daughter recently passed her drivers test as well and Jay made her drive confidently having had a PTSD/ fear of driving due to a car accident we had years ago when she was in 3rd grade which stopped her from wanting to learn how to drive and Jay was very patient in teaching her and now drives safely, confidently and very courteous driver on the road ! Awesome job Jay! You're very good and patient instructor ! I have highly recommended you to all my friends!

Thanks to Jacob, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. He was responsive, patient, and an excellent communicator, guiding us step-by-step through exactly what needed to be done. Our daughter attended six consecutive Sunday classroom sessions and, despite some initial apprehension, ended up really enjoying herself. Jacob made the classes fun and engaging with group assignments, skits, videos, and friendly competitions. He even bought boba for the winners--which alone would have won our daughter over! As an added bonus, she got to know students from other schools. The one-on-one behind-the-wheel sessions were just as wonderful. Jacob's car has a passenger-side brake, which eased a lot of our fear and helped our daughter progress much faster. Over the course of the required 50 hours of parent-child driving practice, we noticed a clear boost in her confidence after every session with Jacob. It was also incredibly helpful that he took her on the actual test route the day before her exam, which made her feel fully prepared. Our daughter "passed first crack," and we couldn't be happier! To top it off, Jacob highlights his students' accomplishments on Instagram, which is fun and motivating. We were so fortunate to have found him--Jacob is truly the best!

Fast forward to 2022 and after a horrifically long two years for many of us I was so delighted to see through a favorite vendor posting their participation at this craft fair unusually placed in March but luckily had the day off I darted off to Moanalua with anticipation. Yes parking just about impossible we all know that but this is all about the school and to raise funds so when I drove up and saw that it's $5 for parking which goes directly to the school you know I'm all in in fact gave them an additional $5 which the adorable student was puzzled lol. Aside for the obvious parking it's completely free and in comparison to the usual town location with $8 parking and $4+ entry fee this is a bargain that's going to a fantastic place...our local school. With my check in and post I've been asked if it was worth it...with response of not to complete your Christmas shopping as I was talking to some vendors it was their very first event since the closure and some had forgotten their passcodes to sign in to their accounts for credit cards and what not. I'm just so happy to see some newbies and old friends which is a great start to somewhat of a normalcy and got to reconnect with some that don't have Instagram outlet to keep up with. So much shifting going around with shop closure, moving and reopening...let's all support local artist and small business. Thank you!!

After finishing the teen behind-the-wheel program with Cyrus Okino, I came here to write a…read morepositive review. The last thing that I expected was the countless one-star reviews complaining about everything. Cyrus let me know a couple days ago that the one-star reviews are from when this company was under a different owner. If I remember correctly, he is now the owner of the company, which means your experience with Accurate Driving should be different than what the other reviews are saying. I had done my 30 hours of classroom sessions through a different company and chose Accurate Driving for my behind-the-wheel after many references from friends. The process of scheduling a BTW appointment is as easy as it gets. I submitted an application and mailed a check to their office, and received an email shortly after telling me who my driver would be and what number to call to schedule an appointment. Cyrus will likely not answer calls until after 5 because he is likely instructing students. It is not difficult at all to understand that. Once you get on the phone with him (or any other instructor), you discuss your availability and make an appointment based on that. From one glance of his schedule book, I could see how many students he was responsible for teaching, but he managed to squeeze me in as fast as possible after an appointment so that I could be on my way to taking my road test as soon as possible. These guys make their livings off of teaching students how to drive; teaching multiple students efficiently can only be in their best interest. Cyrus is truly like an uncle to his students. He will talk story to get to know his students and make the teaching experience much more engaging, but he will also keep it real and instruct you in a straightforward manner to shape you into a better driver. I am not lying when I say that he taught me how to parallel park perfectly in 5-10 minutes. His method is simple and easy to memorize yet effective. You will be able to tell within just one 1-hour behind-the-wheel session that he knows his stuff. I came to Accurate Driving after spending $360 on six behind-the-wheel sessions with a guy off of Google that didn't even know that minors needed blue certificates after their lessons. If you are concerned about whether or not this place is legitimate, take my word for it: it is. Countless friends have used and recommended this place, and I will do the same. I have nothing but honest praise for this place and its behind-the-wheel training program.

Celebration of Life in Aiea, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. My parents' friends are passing away. It's sad because I know that my mom's turn will be coming... eventually... However, right now, I'm glad that I'm able to go with mom to these Memorial Services where she can see the friends that are still living. They don't get together as much anymore. It's too bad because they (The Gang) were very sociable in the past. Anyway... One of the members of their gang was Uncle Eric. He and his family are members of St. Elizabeth Church, so Uncle Eric's Memorial Service was held there. St. Elizabeth Church is a more established parish... they will actually be celebrating 100 years in 2025! They have a school in the next building. We weren't able to park there - which is good. We don't want to disturb the students. The parking lot for the church is before both church and school buildings. I drove slowly along the beginning of Moanalua Road and saw the sign for the parking lot. Right outside of the church, the family of Uncle Eric provided refreshments. We walked upstairs to the reception table, signed in, and then entered the air-conditioned church with beautiful stained glass windows and old school wooden pews. The lighting and sound system were good! We enjoyed a slide show of family photos! The musicians were stationed in the front on the right side. Everything went well! Afterward, the outdoor snack area had bento boxes and bottled water for guests to take home. Note: Restrooms were on the ground level by the Social Hall. I found a sign and followed the arrow... I'll have to return for a regular Sunday service. St. Elizabeth Church has a new, young priest, Father Arrion, who has a wonderful singing voice and threw some Latin passages into the mass! I was impressed!
