In addition, they are energetic and fun, and kept all picture taking sessions running smoothly (as well as the bridal party laughing). I was so pleased when I received my photos- they came out great! I would definitely work with Sorell Photography again.

I cannot say enough about Annemie (owner of Megapixie). As soon as we met Annemie we knew…read moreimmediately that we wanted her as the photographer for our wedding. She is warm, funny and knows her stuff when it comes to taking amazing photographs. She was easy to work with via email (we lived out of town so this was especially important) and was an essential part of our wedding planning process. She shot both our engagement session - which she happily came to Washington, DC for - and our wedding in Chapel Hill, NC. Annemie's strength lies not only in the incredible photographs she takes but the stories that she tells with those pictures. We knew photography was an important part of our wedding (and our budget!) and we wanted someone who would tell the story of the day so that we could relive it over and over. Although we haven't gotten all of her photos back yet, I know this is exactly what Annemie will do and I cannot wait to see the story of our wedding unfold in pictures. Throughout the process it was clear that Annemie was no longer just a photographer, but a friend - it doesn't get much better than that! So do yourself a favor and hire Annemie, you absolutely cannot go wrong with her!

My all-time favorite hair dresser, Mia, joined The Company Hair Salon in Durham a while ago. I was…read moresurfing a bit and was surprised that no one has posted a review of this salon or Mia on Yelp yet! Mia has been cutting and coloring my hair for several years. I have fine hair that is difficult to style, and I have always been exceptionally pleased with Mia's results. My husband also goes to Mia. I have watched Mia cut other people's hair as well, and I am always impressed with her talent. She has a wonderful knack for cutting and styling in a way that works with the hair's natural tendencies. And she does a superb job with hair coloring as well. Mia's prices are reasonable and she is usually able to work around my schedule for an appointment. I highly recommend her! To make an appointment, contact Mia at (919) 698-4048.
