It's a quaint little corner caffe. No frills. No touristy vibe. It's simple and elegant. The food and beverages are well priced and the seating is clean. A little tight but that's also the appeal of an inner city caffe. I'd ordered a strong coffee being I need some go-go juice because I have a long night ahead of me. It was STRONG! That stuff will put hair on your fingernails! The food was amazing. We'd shared a Ham and Cheese Classico'. Delicious. The cheese was the perfect amount of gooey. Would definitely order it again. It's impossible not to take notice of these little cafes scattered all over the city. I was curious to try out these iconic alfajores, which bear the resemblance of Klondike bars wrapped in shiny foil. Also, we had time to kill before dinner. My friend and I shared the Alfajor de dulce de leche y merengue, Galletita limon, and got a pot of tea. I did think the alfajor tasted better than some store bought ones we had tried. It is 2 cookies with dulce de leche filling, and a white coating all around the outside. The cookie was quite soft and a little crumbly. But I thought it was a little too sweet for me. I'm not a big fan of dulce de leche, or caramel-like substances, but it seemed like it was the main flavor to try. The lemon cookie was a simple buttery cookie sandwich with some tart cream in the center. They also gave us 2 complimentary Galletitas medallones, which were chocolate coated cookies with a bit of citrus flavour. That was a nice touch. The cafe would be a nice little place to sit and kill time, but it was a little cramped and crowded when we were there. Not sure if alfajores are my thing, but if I feel the desire to try another flavor, I'd probably just purchase one to go. read more

Amazing alfajores! I literally bought 4 boxes to take back to the US with me and I definitely enjoyed. Also had the chance to enjoy their coffee and not disappointed. Here is the breakdown: FOOD Alfajores -- amazing. Very delicious, great texture and perfect gift when traveling in Argentina. We also ordered expresso and a machiatto and both were very well done and delicious. SERVICE The staff was very friendly and they did the best to communicate with my friends who did not speak Spanish. DECOR/ AMBIANCE Very nice cafe and great place for a nice stop to relax and enjoy.
