While the decor of the restaurant is cute, and the service is friendly, the food was pretty terrible. While I was hoping to diverge from my vacation diet of brats, steaks, and schnitzel, I wish I hadn't. My two dining partners ordered sandwiches - one got the smoked salmon, the other got the tuna melt, and found their sandwiches to be overwhelming bread, and the filling to only be mediocre. I on the other hand ordered one of their spaghetti dishes and found the consistency very off-putting. While I realize I was in Germany, and not a place that specializes in marina/pasta, I wasn't expecting a plate of mushy noodles and a sauce that tasted like canned tomato sauce. The coffee's weren't notable one way or another.

It's got a very comfy feel and at 3:30 the only other folks there were seniors. While the menu was only in German, we managed and enjoyed a nice Italian primitivo and watched the afternoon light fade away. The place is tiny-seats around 15 on first level. A great local spot for a glass of wine.
