Wow! Some 30 yrs ago, we used to come up here to hang out. The buildings were abandoned but contents including books, desks and more from the old normal school were still here. It made great fun for hide and seek and of course other shenanigans! The history of this property is very interesting and worthy of a study. Have fun! We had a family reunion at Miller Hall last week. We did the Haunted Tour. It was really fun, learning the history and see inside the buildings. We had 17 people in our group. Our tour guide was kind enough to let us into the museum after the tour. I'm glad I went. read more

Buy ticket online to avoid waiting in ticket line. It took 3.5 hours to go through each of the houses, but it was well worth the hour drive and lines. They keep everything open until everyone goes through each house, so don't stress too much about long lines- just enjoy! Favorite was School of Chaos, Comish Hall(no actors, just self guided), Clown House, and then least favorite but still good - Creature House. I was thoroughly impressed with the Haunted Mansions of Albion! It was clear that a lot of planning and preparation went in to the event - every house was skillfully decorated and kept my group literally jumping at every turn. The actors were all professional and had wonderful spirit and enthusiasm. The lines were a bit long, but I appreciated that the staff spaced groups out for entrance into the houses and the fire drums along the lines provided warmth for those waiting to enter. Haunted mansion , the name rings volumes of the truth.. what better place to have the life scared out of you the real deal, a haunted,. haunted mansion.... From the age of 11 to 15 my friends and I used to explore the Old Albion College and seen and heard things that my mind , nor science could explain away.. It has been fixed up beautifully, but make no mistake, things go bump in the night there, and it's not always the motel/convention center guests... I give 3* for the revenue, the business in the community, and smarties who made a live haunted house mansion theater for Halloween a huge attraction...but be leery of the combination of, fake tricks & treats mixed with real life hauntings and unexpected visits from beyond..u might REALLY get the life scared out of you. read more

I come here every year for Halloween! I love it! It's so spooky and exciting! Really puts you in the Halloween mood! It takes awhile to go through all four houses so it's worth the drive and money. Would recommend everyone to try it at least once read more
