    Horror behind you
    Brilynn C.

Creepy haunted attraction full of haunted forest horror. My family was very impressed with the entertainment. Decor, Settings, Acting and Layout is well done. I think the Dark Trail was a great place to start the night with option 1 of 7 attractions. The Howling Hayride and Menacing Maze were most talked about in my group. The Haunted Forest is for sure the best! Its a half mile walkthrough of different scary scenes it had a great amount of jump scares for the whole group! Great family fun - age 9 and up is recommended. 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 11,15) Voted: Scare Meter overall 4/5 Attractions offered 5/5 Plenty of parking, beverages offered at concessions, and t-shirts and carnival game for purchase. I would purchase the VIP upgrade if you want to skip the line. The website has more info on the upgrades under "packages."

Hey guys...it's me again. I know you missed my reviews but here we are now. I went to panic point with my good friend elizabeth last night and boy did we have a blast! I wish you could've heard us scream during the haunted forest and dark trail because that was genuinely the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. The actors were dressed to the tens, and I couldn't help but to make uncomfortably long eye contact with leather face when I was exiting a shed...anyways shout out to CILAS (I hope you I spelled your name right) because we were making a video and he scared us so horribly, and then got us again on the way out, he was chill like that tho and even busted a dance move with us. If you wanna have a great night of horror, you should go to panic point. Sorry for the blurry pic of me screaming, I just thought it was necessary for the review.

Visited Panic Point last night to check out the latest and newest things they upgraded too. I worked with panic point few years ago and left for personal reasons. I will break down how I experience everything. I'm an honest person when it comes to the haunt industry and I look for actor skills, talent skills and over all the entertainment. So let's start off with the basics, so on a Saturday night it's very busy so parking can be very challenging, which is normal. I do like the fact you do not need to pay for parking. That is a huge plus. Second the line to get tickets went smoothly somewhat, I want get into much details with that, but it went well. Third the midway seems more like a circus show, which seem different but odd at the same time. Wasn't sure what the plan was for that, anyways the lines were packed so I definitely was glad I got the VIP ticket. I was not waiting 2 hours or more to wait in line. Which again that's a normal time to wait on a Friday or Saturday night. So one of the negative things I wasn't a fan of, which few of the other customers around me complained heavy about how you meet up with other groups while your trying to experience the haunt, you will already see the scary because of the people in front of you, which seem pointless to be scared if you saw the scary happen in front of you. So definitely a time system in place or something to stop that from happening. The other thing is I caught few actors just lacking off with their scares, like they seem not wanting to be there or they were bored, not sure. Not all attractions I went throughout were like that, but mostly all the attractions I ran into other groups. Now I'm very into how the characters make up look and let me be super honest, the make up looked very cheaply done, like it was rush or the make up artist didn't care. I was very disappointed with that. Being a creative person I want the make up and characters to match the theme, also DONT TELL A CUSTOMER to get out or leave, that is one thing as an actor to never say, again be your character and come up with dialog with your scene and character. Again more effort in the acting please. Now stalkers in the corn was a joy, the actors did a fantastic job in there! They played their roles very well! The hayride was a very very disappointing experience, seems like every year they slowly give up with that. The scene was boring, the acting was decent, but they ruin the zombie experience for me! As I'm a huge zombie lover, they plan the zombie theme very poorly, the make up wasn't even zombie horror, it wasn't worth it. Again its a haunted attraction, not a movie set, totally understand that, but playing over $50 or more to experience this haunt, I'll have to say, it's not worth it, it seems like they gave up on a lot and they didn't want to put in the work. Maybe it's time for a change of mind and scenery? Just my opinion. Customer service was good, the ticket takers were nice, besides I'm lost at the VIP line as few of them didn't really pay attention to the VIP line. But again it was a busy nice. Personality it seems like there needs to be more training on acting, make sure the scene is full finished, as I notice some scenes were unfinished but overall it was an okay performance and experience, if they want to grow they have a lot of work to do. Again was it worth the hour drive to see and feel the haunt experience, yes, but I would like a better experience if things were different, with the actors and crew to make sure everything is better, and also please remove the circus theme, if your going to have a circus theme, make sure it's horror theme not happy or happy go theme. Thank you Panic Point for the experience and hopefully you will take my review and advice seriously. I enjoyed my time working there and I hope everyone is well.

This was my second time coming here and both times were really fun! There are a lot of creative themes and ideas....and there's new stuff added every year it seems. Attractions include the Haunted Forest Trail, the Voodoo Bus, the Dark Walk and the Haunted Hay Ride. In addition, there are games for groups such as the "Killers in the Corn maze" and the "Zombie Shootout"......all designed to scare even the bravest of souls....including me! You can tell that they put a lot of effort in the planning and staging of the theme park. From the props to the actors....it's all legit. Speaking of the actors they are really good. The costumes are believable, they go full out into their character and there is a lot of role play. By far, my favorite is the Haunted Forest. This place is bound to get a scare or scream out of you. In between the attractions, there is food and other events to complete the experience. In all, a great event to add to your "things to do" list during the Halloween season. It is perfect and much more fun to experience in groups. I came here on a night out with the Family. There were nine of us, at various ages from 8 to 45.....needless to say, everyone had a blast! There were some very well executed surprises and scares that really got me, but there were other times where it was just fun! I would recommend going here at least once for the experience! * PRO TIP: Buy your tickets, in advance, online. Also, consider buying the VIP tickets....it will save you the 1 to 2 hour waits....for some of the main attractions on a busy night....like Friday or Saturday nights. You've been warned! lol We did just that and saved so much time from dealing with the long lines....I mean if looks could kill, you should of seen the faces of people as we breezed right pass them and into the attractions....with no wait might I add!! That was a "trick & treat"....in itself. lol

We came for their opening night & bought the VIP tickets since we had never experienced this place before. Honestly, it was worth it! We really appreciated the fact that we were allowed to go with just ourselves and not attached to another group just so we could be at our own pace but also experience each scare and attraction without it being ruined or spoiled by seeing a group ahead of us. Each attraction probably took between 10-15 minutes to go through, which the longer the trail the better. Would say the hayride could have been a tad bit better by having a storyline as you go through, but all the actors and employees were very nice and did a great job! Great start to the spooky season

5-stars for Ron's UYE last Friday night! I had a wonderful time with new and old Yelp friends. We shared great convo at dinner, a few scares and a lot of good belly laughs at the Haunted Forest, and good small talk at the brewery afterward. Thanks for organizing such a fun night, Ron W.! :) We started the evening at Tropical Picken Chicken, and what yummy food that was! I had the mixed plate with jerk chicken, steak, and pulled pork. The chicken was my favorite! Kuanyu had a feast of fried goodness, and he cleaned his plate without hesitation, despite their workers saying the meal was too much for one person :) Our awesome CM Lauryn C. came & indulged in the tastiness and introduced us to a verde hot sauce they had! At Panic Point, Ron managed to score us 1/2 priced tickets for the event (thanks again for that!) and we got in line for the forest. Julia and her husband joined us in line too. As we were entering the line, scary Larry managed to sneak up on Lauryn and scare the bajesus out of her, it was awesome! We had to walk through the forest in groups, but we all had fun laughing at those that got really scared. It wasn't too scary, but just enough for good laughs :) We concluded the night over a few pints at White Street Brewery in downtown Wake Forest. Good conversation was had by all, and it was great to get to know everyone. I hope to have more of these nights soooooon, and I vote Ron coordinates again because that was super! :)

Uhm, yeah. She's small but she screams big...

Hah, ok I may have set this UYE up but I'm still giving it five stars! Shortened story but we had a great meal at Tropical Picken Chicken, a fun time at the Haunted Forest and then a relaxing beer or two over at White Street Brewery. What I liked best about the event was that it was casual and fun all-around. Bonus is hearing your Yelp Community Manager Lauryn C running around and screaming her head off, sigh... A handful of us met up for dinner and we all had some great Puerto Rican food at Tropical Picken Chicken. Loved my chicken, braised pork and tostones, yum! Then off to the Haunted Forest which was pretty mellow but still intense enough to instill some shrieks of terror in some of your fellow Yelpers. And then a quick swing out to downtown Wake Forest for some smooth beers from White Street. All-in-all it was a great chance for me to check out the scene in Wake Forest and dabble with my neighbor to the north. So awesome-sauce way to start up Halloween! Who's up for Woods of Terror now?!

He filled our air, fixed our masks, and marched us off to chow! He taught us the ways of paintball and we taught him a little about life. A member of my communal living space encouraged him to incorporate a slogan of his own design into his everyday work script: "have an extreme day". How novel! Yes Ethan. Yes.

Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

**Spoiler Alert***…read more The following review comes from an adult, child-free prospective. Every year I like to check a new haunted house. I came here with a MeetUp group to check this place out. It's right off 98 on the Raleigh/Durham line. Parking: I arrived at 7 PM and there was plenty of parking. I left around 9:30 PM and parking spots appeared scarce. Tickets: I purchased the general admission ticket online for $16.50. But read the Cons. It "included" Zoombie shooting and 4 smaller attractions--Phobia Room, Dark Maze, Jail Cell, and I don't remember the other one. Cons 1. You will wait in an incredibly slow line even if you purchase online. They scanned the ticket on my phone and then gave me a ticket for paintballs and the other 4 attractions. 2. You have to pay an EXTRA $10 for 100 paintballs. WHAT?!? Why wasn't that included in the price? The real cost was $26.50 total. 3. The zombie shooting ride did not have many live zombies. Most were mannequins. Who wants to shoot inanimate figures? 4. The scares were below average to average. 5. They lost the opportunity to set the atmosphere while we waited in that long line. Only one actor creeped by while we waited. Pro 1. There's a bar at the entrance. I didn't go inside. 2. Parking is free 3. They offer VIP packages so you can skip the lines. Overview: There were some entertaining moments and concepts but nothing phenomenal here.

This includes the registration/line staff - about half were not wearing masks throughout the entire night* A group of us attended Xtreme Haunt Saturday 10/24 and were surprised at the lack of control and safety measures that were being followed. I was very surprised - other haunted houses I attended this year in the area are enforcing safety measures and it was a great experience. At Xtreme Haunt, most of the 'actors' were wearing face coverings, but many of the employees you actually interact with (think: registration, monitoring lines, etc.) were not. Probably half of the attendees were not wearing any face coverings and there was no enforcement, or even encouragement, of social distancing. To that point, there was 0 organization/facilitation of an organized queue for us to safely wait in line without being packed in a tight crowd of strangers. I just called the office Sunday 10/25 AM to explain my concerns that the website markets safety measures, yet the actual experience is opposite of that. The response was "Sorry, we can't control everything." However, (1) managing your employees to follow safety protocols is absolutely possible, (2) building in a safe and organized queue process seems like a necessary planning step to have taken months ago, and (3) yes - you absolutely can require guests to abide by your requirements of face coverings. Every other haunted house in the area is doing so.
