Hatt's misses off on the fabled fifth star through no fault of its own. I didn't eat here and as the (rather stunning looking) cellar bar and restaurant, are such a big thing here. I feel I can't really comment on everything they do.
Whilst we were there we saw food on its way out and it looked amazing. I'd encourage anyone to try it out.
What Hatt's also does, which you might not expect. Is a takeaway drinks service. As well as being a bar and restaurant they're a café in the sense of the word I understand it to be. Sandwhiches and other light bites as well as coffee and tea on the go.
This is worth a mention as I'm sure you'd pass it by in favour of the more obvious brands around such as Neros and Costa. Well you shouldn't. Hatt's is friendlier, I think possibly cheaper (need to check that, it was cheaper than back home at any rate), and they gave us chocolates with our drinks for free. Amazing chocolates!
The staff were friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. If I were a local I'd already be planning a meal there. read more
